This insurance is garbage. If I can give it a minus 5 stars I will. They refuse to reimburse my impacted wisdom teeth removal, which is clearly listed as covered item in my certificate of coverage. I've emailed them before the surgery and confirmed it's covered. But they refused to pay me after the procedure. Emailed them numerous times with all the paperwork. No one gets back to me.

Worst insurance I have ever had. My institution switched to UHSR this year, and I hope they switch it back because it’s been nothing but trouble. Their timeline for reviewing documents for clinical necessity is very slow, even when “expedited.” It is insanely ridiculous and has pushed back my treatment for weeks now. My healthcare providers are frustrated, I’m frustrated, and I’m living a lower quality of life that is preventable because they refuse to review documentation in a timely manner. Customer service was also terrible and unhelpful. Avoid if possible.

I've recently had my institution switch to UHSR healthcare. In that time I have filled prescriptions and had regular blood work done. Prescriptions are denied to fill for 90 days and the copays are higher than other companies. They did not cover my blood work - regular blood work paying only $ 16 on a $ 500 bill. So far, horrible! I also called to inquire if they covered COVID testing - they don't. Would not recommend it. I hope my school switches to another insurance ASAP.

Also, the app sucks and most pages don't work. Additionally, customer service sucks.

Worst insurance coverage I have ever had. Even simple primary care visits aren't covered (in-network).

Worst insurance I've ever dealt with. My cheap university switched providers so that their workers could be left to foot the bill instead. Because of the switch, my meds (which I need to function) were no longer covered and tripled the monthly amount I paid. It took about 8 months to fight through useless agents and condescending doctors to get my medication covered, but they decided to only cover it for the prior year (aka only one actual month's worth). Avoid if possible.

Worst insurance I have ever had. I had them through my employment as a student employee, but they claimed they were secondary insurance since I had other coverage through a parent's employment. How are you secondary when I was the primary holder of the plan? Now, almost 9 months after a doctor's visit they still haven't paid a bill for an in network clinic. They lie to my secondary insurance, claiming to have communicated with them when they have not. Terrible customer service, terrible coverage, terrible system. Students, please, if you have other options do not even bother with this company and insurance. It will only end up costing you.

Had them through school, and possibly the worst student insurance I’ve ever had. Made you jump through lots of hoops to get your reimbursement. Also would reject your claim without notifying you or telling you the reason. Awful.

Charged $535 after this insurance for a simple annual check up. This insurance is useless.

Absolutely the worst company I've had the misfortune of dealing with. Reps start every call from scratch, claims are denied without reason, rules change, and everything takes a month or more to process. If I could give negative stars, I would.
