Davidson's Dockside Restaurant

This place was the bomb dot com. We happened to get lucky and go on a Monday when they have 50 cent wings and let me tell you, they are the best wings I’ve had! Perfectly crispy and the sauces were on point. We had the spicy pineapple bbq and buffalo. We couldn’t even eat our dinner which was also delicious and HUGE portions. Clam basket and chicken tender basket. Yum! Highly recommended

This place was fabulous. Great food, friendliest staff we have encountered this trip, and great scenery. It is not the gulf or even the bay but it was nice to just sit outside and relax with dockside sounds. Friday was all you can eat fish night, fried grilled or blackened, the portions were so big I only got one more piece, just to try it blackened. Bathrooms were clean and the parking was plenty. It is kinda off the beaten path but the GPS took us right to the front door.

Very good service, nice but still casual and comfortable atmosphere, clean look and layout, and not too long of a wait time. The food was amazing, good size portions, great flavor and looked and smelled good. In the picture there is the white fish meal and the taco meal, sorry but I do not remember the actual names. I will admit the white fish meal was a little on the oily side, but that was to be somewhat expected with that kind of meal. Overall, really good place, not too bad price and great atmosphere.

The food was absolutely delish!
I had the Fisherman's Platter ($16.96). Large player with fish, shrimp, oysters, and clams, and fries. All fried. The best in town, by far!
My friends had the Fish n Chips, the other friend had one of their burgers. Will definitely return soon! We all left most satisfied.

The food was amazing! Our waitress Stephanie was super friendly.

It's situated on the dock, kind of beside and behind a marina. We sat inside, but were next to a big window that faced outside to the dock. It was a neat experience watching boats load and unload into the water.

My husband and I shared an appetizer (Teddy's Crab Cakes) and an entrée (The Davidson Feast). The crab cakes were a bit lemony, but we're super good. They had big chunks of crab in them. The feast had 2 clusters of crab (we each took one), scallops, and Cajun shrimp, and it came with a side (onion rings) and a soup (crab chowder). Well portioned and super flavorful. The shrimp were my favorite.

Went with the family and we really like the food. We will be coming back with friends to enjoy more. Pictures are for Cuban Sandwich, Fish and chips, Grouper Sandwich with battered onion rings.

Service and food were good. Drinks and atmosphere were great. Be ready for deep fried, but do have some options for heartburn customers

What a fantastic hidden gem with waterfront open air dining located in the back of Port Tarpon Marina! Now one of our favorite breakfast spots. Crab cakes eggs Benedict is DELICIOUS and the crispy home fried potatoes that come with it are cooked to perfection. The Eggs Benedict Florentine and the Breakfast Cuban sandwich are also OUTSTANDING! Servers were very friendly and attentive.

Great waterfront views as well. Just a relaxing place to enjoy great food with great views.

Sat outside on a gorgeous Saturday early afternoon and soaked up the sun and watched the boats go by. You are overlooking the marina that has plenty of really nice lookin boats. Had 2 craft beers and a blackened mahi salad that was on point. My gf had the snow crab that she really enjoyed. No complaints and reasonable pricing . Hidden out back but it’s worth the search.

9/2021: Unfussy. Riverside. Comfy food and cold beer.

I’ve been here several times to eat. I love the view of the marina and river. Sometimes they have music on the dockside patio.

Service was passable - waitress was a bit inexperienced. We had the Shipwrecked Tacos and Crab Cake Sliders - both good and fresh. The draft beers were generous and cold.

Get off the beaten path and check ‘em out!

4/2021: Super down to earth with a view of the marina. Grilled grouper was a nice cut and well prepared. Waitress was attentive. Most importantly, the draft beers were cold and fast!

Dog friendly! They even have beef or chicken for them. Our food was great. Our server was very nice but we had to ask multiple times for different items. It was a beautiful day out and she may have been busy. But im not making them down a star for that. She never approached our table without a smile.

We ate here several times during our stay and it was delicious no matter what we had. My FAVORITE by far was the shrimp tacos, I could eat them everyday. I am now on a mission to find a recipe similar to these so I can have them in Illinois.

The food is incredibly fresh. The homemade chips are delicious and they have the best conch fritters I have ever had!

Absolutely amazing service the ladies were so friendly and food I got the shrimp tacos and they were delicious my friend had gotten the fish and chips and I have never seen such a big portions of fish giving out it was so crispy flaky and so fresh

Don't be fooled by the location! Yes, there is a resteraunt there, and a pretty good one! Went for breakfast. Service was quick, staff was friendly and the seafood omelet was cooked well. Not a bad view from the harbor either.

This place is a local loved eatery. The food is delicious and some high quality cuts. We tried their special and it was one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time. It was topped with lobster and shrimp in a garlic butter sauce. Highly recommend this local favorite!!

A hidden gem on the north side of Tarpon. Located at the Port of Tarpon dockside provides a nice atmosphere... Food is delicious. Had fish & chips with Friends that were fresh, moist and tasty. Tried it both fried - very lightly battered, as well as grilled... one of the best i have had in the local area. 3 hearty filet pieces accompanied by tasty cole slaw and "chips". There's a small bar inside. It's a Marina setting, so if you like casual Florida dining with Delicious food, check out Davidson's Dockside...you will be surprised!

Great seafood at a great price. Loved it. For only $9.99 I got the fish and chips / fries, it came with 3 big fillets of fish and you can get it grilled, blackened, or fried.

A nice place right next to the marina. With plenty of parking. The fish tacos, chips, and a bowl of crab chowder were my choice and they were delicious 😋
