Excellent food and right on the main strip next to Spongeorama gift shop. The grilled grouper was tender and flaky. Loved the live music too. I only gave 3 stars for service because no one had a clue what kind of beer they were serving and didn't seem to care. Kept giving us some kind of foo foo citrus beer instead of Stella. UHG! Just a really unpleasant and repeated surprise. For the love of God and all that's holy, check the f-ing tap!

This is a cute little place 💕 with great sandwiches 🥪🥙🌯😋, yummy shrimp🍤 🦐 🍤, all the starters are amazing, and the octopus 🐙 🦑 🐙 🦑 🐙 with the Greek salad and Greek fries 🍟 were delicious!!!♡♡♡ The 🍹 🍹 🍹 drinks🍸 🍍 🍍 are affordable, and yes, they have specials!!!♡♡♡ They are updating the inside of the restaurant, and it is looking super cute!!!♡♡♡ If you like or luv❤ Greek food,🫒🥙🥖🌯🥑🥗 I would put this place up against anyone. My wife and I love Yianni’s! Our favorite restaurant in Tarpon Springs. Our meal was very pricey but delicious. We didn’t know there was a festival until we arrived, so a large gratuity was added to our bill. We got the saganaki appetizer, spanakopita, and pastitsio. We loved the food.

We go to Tarpon springs every year and I have to go to Yanis! The food is incredible, the service is amazing! This time they had live Greek music that was so nice! This place is a must try!!

There were 6 of us and I had the best meal with the Gyro Combo. I mean, come on, when in Greece eat Greek! I also had a taste of a Smelt fish. My Mom does not recommend the fish sandwich. #4 had the calamari. The others had chicken tenders and chicken gyro which were good for them. Service on received 3 Stars, since they appeared to be understaffed at the time. I probably could of drank 2-3 more pricy beers, which would of increased the INCLUDED 20+% gratuity. We used cash to save us from a Credit Card fee.

So good that we came back 2 days later & it was fabulous! Coconut shrimp A+ and hummus tonight with incredible warm pita points. You will love it! ❤ They also had a guy singing outside that was wonderful. Did Van Morrison better than Van - lol...not really but VERY good! Wish he had stayed longer 😉

This was a wonderful experience. The wait staff was very good. We explained we had a boat trip very soon. She returned with our order within 5 minutes. She exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious and second to none. The atmosphere was rustic but great. We will return.

Some of the best on the block! The portion sizes are massive so you won't be leaving hungry! The kids menu burger is on the larger size as well so keep that in mind for your little(s). Overall it was a great atmosphere and reasonably priced for what you're getting for it ☺

Definitely not disappointed that we chose to eat here. Got a discount because we did a boat tour so that was nice. The service here is fabulous. They are very attentive to making sure you have what you need.
We highly recommend the house snapper special and the shrimp and green beans.
Both were truly delicious. We took our time eating this.

Very good food. Very nice atmosphere. Portion sizes were just right and prices were very fair. This little place is a diamond in the rough here in Tarpon. I will recommend to anyone looking for a Greek restaurant with good vibes and service. Waitress was very nice and would come check on our table whenever she was out and about. Looking forward to coming back for some live music and good times very soon.

Great restaurant in Tarpon Springs by the sponge docks. All the traditional Greek dishes plus many seafood choices. Casual atmosphere and generous portions.

Had dinner with the family and everyone really enjoyed their meals. The atmosphere is truly unique which is tough to pull off in this region on the GC. The food was delicious and everything seemed to be cooked perfectly. We're not Greek food experts but who doesn't know bad food? We were served by Yianni, I think maybe the III and he was very polite and kind. I noticed he's a fellow lefty so there's that too. Brilliant! Out family of 5 left there with deserts and a respectable tip for a few $$ over $200. Great multi generation family run business. Absolutely will go again.

The Calamari and the Lamb were Excellent! The Saganaki for an appetizer was Fantastic, you can get it free with a coupon! I highly recommend this restaurant!

1st time visiting Yianni's and it was great! The food was fantastic. I had the Greek Combo platter and my wife had the Gyro platter. Very tasty and well prepared. Generous portions. Mixed drinks were also good. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Bathroom was clean.

I am giving 5 stars as everything we ate here was soooo delicious 😋! Really great greek food!
There interior though should be renovated. Also, we were confused since there was no hostess and we were just standing in the middle of the cafe not knowing what to do. It appeared that we could seat wherever we wanted.

We went to the sponge docks for a walk, usually I shy away from the restaurants on the main street as there are to many snow birds this time of the year. My wife and I passed Yianni's and almost passed it by but we spied an open table in front and sat down IT WAS FANTASTIC! I highly recommend the grilled octopus.

Excellent food and service, prices are what you may expect. We had the gyro platter and a whole snapper. The gyro plate was spot on. Snapper was ok (nothing but bones left on the plate when we were done). The portions are very large!

Our family decided to spend some time in Tarpon Springs for some Greek food that was also pet friendly. I ordered the Grecian Octopus topped with feta cheese , kalamata olives, pepperoncini, diced tomatoes, red onions, and garlic sauce. The portion was enough for an entree which isn’t typical for octopus entrees. My wife and oldest son had lamb gyros and my two younger sons ordered hamburger. We enjoyed the meal and our server was friendly and kind.

We can’t say enough good about this place. Seriously, the food was incredible! We came in at closing time and they not only stuck around for us, but encouraged us to come in and gave us EASILY the best service we have ever had anywhere. Yianni was so caring and attentive, got everything perfect. He went way above and beyond what I would expect anyone to, especially at that time of night. Nick was busting his tail to make sure the place was clean and neat, and helped us with anything we needed. We didn’t catch the owner/managers(?) name, but he was so extremely kind as well.
We had a variety of foods, as there were 7 of us plus baby, so we really got to taste a good portion of the mention. So so so so good. We will be back!

Great service, nice atmosphere, and delicious Greek and seafood cuisine! The gyros and souvlakis are superb, and are filling on their own, not to mention the fries and salad that come with them. The pita bread itself is also delicious, as is the bread and butter that comes before the meal. Overall, wonderful restaurant that is located right next to tons of neat stores and sponge-related attractions.
