JoJo's Italian Diner

My wife and I with our friends had a wonderful dinner experience. The food was hot and delicious. Ambience with red roses and other amenities was lovely. The owners and Tracey our waitress were friendly and fun. We will surely be visiting a lot. The outside entrance looks OK but inside is great! We all felt the award is well deserved! See photos.

I love mom and pop shops!! Small intimate atmosphere. I am not sure what is in the bread, but if you are on a diet, don't try it!!! You won't stop eating it lol. I am an eggplant parm snob. This one was good. Nicely breaded, and the sauce reminded me of home. The service was out of this world. Our waitress was so sweet and wonderful to my little guy. The sangria was fantastic. I was told they are opening a pizza shop next door. Go support local... you won't be disappointed!!

Oh, man, was this GREAT! Authentic Italian cuisine, like all the Italian mothers in my neighborhood used to make when I growing up. Excellent sweet red gravy, sausages and meatballs, homemade bread. Asked someone in the area where we could go for Italian food, and they were stumped, until the light came on and they said "Oh! Jojo's Diner." I was expecting a diner, but, this is a nice place with a great atmosphere, super-friendly wait staff, and most excellent food. A terrific discovery, we will be making the trip back. My compliments to the chef.

Nice little gem on Tarpon Springs for dinner. Authentic Italian food and decor. Staff was very friendly and our waitress was attentive. I had the Chicken Francese with tangy lemon a white wine sauce, and my husband had a seafood pasta special. It was a pleasant surprise to find gluten free pasta as an option. Best Italian dinner we have had since moving to the area a year ago. Prices fair too. We will be back again!

We always enjoy Jo Jo’s it’s our family and friends favorite Italian place. The stuffed mushrooms, Alfredo, shrimp, scampi. Is our go to! The bread is to die for!! The portions are larger so you have lunch for the next day 😄

Our first time and the food was amazing. Even one of the owners, Anthony came out to introduce himself and asked how everything was and chatted with us. My husband and I were so impressed. Being from NY this place is the closet to NY Italian that we have found. The only 2 changes I would recommend is giving some sort of bread on each table when you’re seated and offering a vegetable or pasta with your entree. We’re definitely going back. This will be our go to from now on. Our compliments to the chef, JoJo.

An Excellent place for a home-made Italian dinner! Food was excellent, service was great & entertainment was perfect for a great evening! Highly recommend this restaurant & don’t rush - enjoy the food and the great atmosphere!!! Will definitely come back here next time we are in town

Very clean restaurant. Good service. I had the vegetable lasagna. It was good, really good if you like alot of cheese, yea, this is for you. The zucchini bites were really good. Two sauces, I liked the Alfredo. My friends say to get the meatball quesadilla. They didn't have it that day, but that's supposed to be the bomb. Very clean restaurant

Amazing genuine Italian cuisine.....great service from our server Shiloh and a warm, cozy experience. The owners are present and accommodating but the real super star is the food! It's just like having your Italian Grandmother fixing you Sunday dinner. The quality is excellent and the menu is vast and filled with genuinely homemade choices. My chicken franchaise was incredible....Best I've ever had even from some very well known fine dining restaurants. Loved the experience and I'm sure you will too...

An Italian friend recommended this place for having authentic Italian food. IT WAS AMAZING! Cozy diner, reminiscent of The Godfather, and the food was delicious, with generous portions. We didn't have a reservation, but they accommodated us immediately. Definitely will return! I had the antipasto salad, so good, and HUGE.

Food was very good, Terry our server was friendly & attentive. Meatball was soft & delicious. Marinara was flavorful and portions perfect size. Antipasto salad was full of cheese, olives and pickled vegetables. Sangria was delicious (,tho a bit light) and the pour was very generous. I will be back!

The mushroom baked ziti and fried zucchini were both so delicious!

Incredible food plus service was amazing. It was a tad loud but everyone enjoyed it. Thank you to the owner and sous chef for coming around and introducing himself. He had an amazing large cross on his neck and it was beautiful.

One of the things I appreciate most about Tarpon Springs is the growing food scene. Locally owned restaurants across this city give residents and visitors incredible variety that cannot be found anywhere else in the Tampa Bay area.

JoJo's is a prime example of what I love about this area. First, the food is world class. I just finished their Father's Day 4 Course Dinner and every bite was a 5 star experience. From the first course, soup and real italian garlic bread, through to the last bite of dessert all I can say is AMAZING!
You can tell they use the best ingredients, prepare everything fresh, and are committed to quality.

The staff are friendly and attentive. I never had to ask for a refill on my drink. I was checked on often but never in a nagging or annoying way. The timing on each course was perfect. I never felt rushed nor was I left waiting. There are some very expensive restaurants around that could learn something about good service from the staff at JoJo's.

Finally, the price was beyond fair. Tonights meal was about $25 for 4 full courses. Because of the great service, I had no problem leaving a good tip and walked out feeling like they earned every penny of my business. Im looking forward to coming back soon for more great food and service.

We called in for a last minute reservation and they were able to accommodate our table of 5. We were surprised to see they had live entertainment, our food was amazing and the service was outstanding. This place is a little hidden gem of Tarpon Springs.

Great,Great place. The food was exceptional. Shiro, our server was fantastic. This is a family restaurant that make you feel like your are having an Italian meal at a family members home. From the appetizers to the soup to salad to the main course (stuffed shells) were fabulous. The deserts were out of this world. I come from an Italian neighborhood in Philly & eating at JoJo's was like eating at home.Having Shilo as our server made this dinning experience ever greater. She is funny & she answered all of our questions about the menu, she has a full understanding of all the items and the presentation of dinner was nothing short of outstanding. Thank you for a great experience & looking forward to our next great meal at Jojo's.

I found this restaurant on Yelp and I'm so glad we went because the food and service were fantastic. The chef, JoJo, and her husband, Anthony own this quaint restaurant in Tarpon Springs. We ordered fried calamari with a side of marinara sauce which was cooked perfectly and not greasy at all. It was well seasoned and the sauce had a slight kick to it which complimented the calamari. My boyfriend ordered the Seafood Pasta special, a combination of shrimp, crab, calamari and lobster in a marinara sauce over linguini. It was a large portion and he really enjoyed it. I had the Shrimp Scampi Alfredo (you read it right) over angel hair, which was the best Alfredo I've had in a long time! Both entres included a side salad with homemade Italian dressing and a small garlic bread loaf. We ordered dessert to take home, an egg nog cheesecake with cookie crumble crust and topping and a rainbow cake, both were rich and flavorful. We highly recommend this restaurant!!

Jo Jo's is our go to place for great Italian fare. Sauces are excellent. Pasta is great. Love the shareable desserts. The staff is awesome and the owner is on hand to make sure everyone is enjoying their meal. ❤❤

Enjoyed a delicious dinner last night at JoJo’s. First time there and we highly recommend them. There were four of us and we all enjoyed our meals. The owner Anthony stopped by to introduce himself. A good time was had by all. *****
