What a beautiful park this is. The water is so tranquil and soothing. Lovely place to take a walk, with plenty of shade trees. There are many historic homes surrounding the park. And lots of the original masonry, making this spot extra special.
Dogs are allowed, too🐶

Great place to see manatees and take a walk. There were at least 8 manatees in the water and they were active the day I was there. There are people kayaking and lots of people walking dogs. It’s a beautiful setting right in the city. There was plenty of parking and it’s free.

The Tarpon Springs Bayou is the place where we hold Epiphany every January 6th.
It is also the site for many other events like the Fine Arts Festival which is typically held in March every year.
They have a saltwater boat launch, restrooms, a concrete path to walk around the Bayou, a park, playground, restrooms and lighted tennis courts.
And it's just a block from Historic downtown Tarpon springs.
10 out of 10. Would highly recommend!

P.S. also here you can see at 6th of January the epiphany and the blessing of the water by the orthodox priests... such a nice experience with so many people...

Fun place to walk around! They have a cute little coffee shop there with an upstairs that has a cozy little areas to sit on some comfortable sofas and drink your coffee. They have a antique toy store that we visited on the downtown main Street and being that it's December they had a cute little mailbox where the kids could put letters to Santa. You can take a walk down to the bayou and look at the water and we saw manatee. There are lots of manatees there in the winter who come in for the warm water and that's a great place to check those out.

Got to see Manatees in the lake, it's matting season. Beautiful view. Loved this plaque by the water, written by a Vietnam Veteran. Seems so true. If you love Greek food and many shops and real sponges, this is a town to visit, here in Florida.

Seeing the snout of a manatee several times was the frosting on the cake of beautiful Craig's Park; with picnic tables, benches & walkways. The Rec Center & Heritage Museum add greatly to Memorial Park.

I see manatees often in winter time. Definitely go for Epiphany on January 6th for a huge Greek festival. They also do candles around the bayou for prayer intentions every Christmas Eve!
