Got a Mercarb 2bbl carburetor this morning from them, the boat purrs now. Carb was perfect out of the box, didn't have to set the idle nor the mixture screw. Impressive! The shop is a treasure trove of carbs, probably several thousand of them neatly arranged on shelves- Rochester 2 and 4 bbls, Holley's, Carter's, much more.

"Superior" is an understatement!! Dennis is a wizard!!! I took him my 55 year old carb that wouldn't run properly, and within a week I had it back and the car was running perfectly!! And it even looks brand new!! (see attached pictures) Thank you Dennis!!!

I went to this shop for the first time back in 1990, they repaired my carb on my El Camino for a very reasonable price. I still drive the car on a daily basis and it still runs great! Since then I have returned several times for other projects I have and have always been treated well. I have recommended several friends and my family as well. Fair prices and great service. Go see these guys....truly professional.

Excellent! Took a two-barrel Rochester marine carburetor, which need a full rebuild, to these guys, who came highly recommended from my mechanic. Insanely quick turn around (less than 8 business hours), super reasonable price (under $91 for full rebuild), threw in a new base plate gasket, too. Very knowledgeable and explained that I had signs of water intrusion in my fuel system. Haven't reinstalled yet, but I'm certain I got the very best rebuild around. Anyone in Tampa/St. Pete area looking for great carb work, this is the best place. Don't even bother with the guys down the road (see my review about "Guaranteed Carburetor"). Thanks!

Doug (I think that is his name...) Always knows his carbs. Does great work and is always helpful. I'm a professional repair shop and I remember when I was youth my dad used to build carbs in house. Now days we do not have time for it. It is all they do!

After about 35 years of business and loyal customers, Dennis has closed Superior Carburetor and retired. Thank you for 35 years of carburetor service and hard work!

Had a 780 holley rebuilt. Very knowledgeable guy. Straight shooter no bs. Haven't installed it yet but I have no doubt about his work. He rebuilt it 12 years ago. Highly recommended!!

Drove 1969 El Camino from New York to Florida. Car was running rough , could not adjust the carburetor and get the car to idle right. Heard about Superior Carburetor in Clearwater, went there and met the owner Dennis, in minuets Dennis adjusted the carburetor. Car ran perfect! Just want to say thanks to Dennis, great job.. Bought a reman carb from them that is PERFECT. Done right, they capped off every opening and it looks new.

Their carbs are PLUG AND PLAY. Just bolt it on and go!

With no core charge, and the cost of carb kits going up, it was 10 times easier to buy it from them for 100 bucks with a free base gasket and fuel filter included! By the time you spend $50 buying the parts from an auto parts store, the cleaner, the time to disassemble at all, and make sure it’s put together correctly, not even counting the time it takes to get it dialed in. These carburetors are pre set and ready to go. IT IS SO WORTH IT!! I’ll never even think about rebuilding another one of my carburetors again, and I’ve been doing at myself for years!

Just put a new carburetor on my 1969 el camino, took it down to see Dennis the owner of superior carburetors in clear water where he adjusted the carburetor. Car runs great never ran so good, Thanks Dennis.
