Super fun place to hangout and find new novels, comics, or memorabilia. There is a tabletop area that I want to checkout next time I'm there.

I've been wanting to visit this store for a while now, so when a very old friend's birthday was coming up, she's turning 60, I wanted to give her something that would make her feel like a little girl again, so I decided to finally visit Emerald City and get her a few comic books. I was very impressed, everything is neat, orderly, clean and obviously well loved. The staff is amazing, one gentleman even helped me understand how volumes and issues work with comic books and he didn't make me feel like an idiot for not knowing. Thanks Guys!

Always a good experience. My wife and I usually go together and it’s nice to have her be acknowledged first since most comic shops tend to be pretty sexist and misogynistic. Never had an issue here with that.

Definitely a true collectors paradise. Insane amount of comics. Figurines and pops. Honestly I have to go back a few more times to be able to absorb everything in it's totality. Such an awesome place!

What a nice comic book store !! So many to choose from 🤩 and friendly and helpful staff. They have a lot of new comics and so many long boxes with back issues (and it is very easy to find what you are looking for). But also lots of other stuff like trades, toys, games,...

I emailed the store in the morning and they got back to me within hours of opening. They were super helpful and helped me get ahold of a playmat I was looking for! Definitely recommend this store, amazing staff and amazing selection!

I went here for the first time on Christmas Eve and I was blown away. Amazing place, staff is very knowledgeable and kind ; rare these days. Have a great selection of comics,and so much more. I will definitely be referring people here.

Great selection. Staff have always been friendly, helpful, and patient, even with my special needs son. Prices are also very reasonable and in line with the current market for collectibles.

Awesome Store! I was staying in the area with my daughters to attend Reggae Rise Up music festival and stumbled across this 'diamond in the rough' comic bookstore and decided to browse before heading to festival one of the days. All 3 of us were immediately mesmerized and browsed the store in amazement for almost 2 hours before checking out!

I definitely recommend this store and wish there was a store even half as great as Emerald City Comics near me.

I come here to paint all the time. They have lots of paints and minis to choose from, along with the books for whatever RPG you're playing. It's super chill and the staff is very friendly.

They, also, have comics. Like ALL the comics. Like too many comics. If you're interested in that, you'll find what you're looking for here 😁

My son and I love this place! I’ve been shopping with them since the 90s in the original location. They have a huge selection of great toys and comics. It’s a real destination for Birthdays and meeting comic illustrators and even costumed characters on some days.

Went in to look at their paint selection. Was amazed by all the board games, organized comics, and miscellaneous other items they had.
Speaking on the store, I'd go back to peruse their board game selection sometime soon. Lots to read up on and pick from.
Not one for comics or their peieces/collectables.
Paint section, however, was a bit weak, would reccomend elsewhere if you need more than 1 color.
Basic Citadel single colors and miniatures. Was hoping to find some starter color kits or advanced ones to pick from. They only had one flavor of kit when I went. Not many accessories or tools to go from either. I did overhear an employee tell another customer that its not something they keep an abundance of or necessarily cater towards.
Still 5 stars, can't knock the place for trying!

Best Geek store in Pinellas County, EVER.

The staff is always very welcoming and friendly. The volume and variety of inventory is VAST and if they don't have what you're looking for, they can order it or yell you where to get it if they can't order it. Their prices are as good, if not better, than any retail store. I haven't utilized their play room but they have a ton of tables and the shelves are loaded with tabletop games you can play. If you want to get your geek on, this is the best place in the Tampa area to do it.

I spent a Saturday driving around Pinelllas looking for a comic shop. Of all the shops close to me, Emerald City Comics and Games has by far the best selection of new and back issue comics. But, so much more. Art, games, figures, prints -too much to name. They have everything you’d ever need at this place. The staff are friendly and helpful and answered any questions I had. If you’re looking for a specific book, just ask and they’ll see if they have it for you. This is the shop I plan on doing business with.

This place is awesome! The kid in you comes alive when you're there. Our 5 years-old son loves coming by and looks forward to the next time we go.

Great store with a huge selection of everything from comic, gaming, anime and figures. Only got to take a quick look through but found 2 Serzdy covers and some Creature figures I had been looking for. Will definitely go back in the future when I have more time.

It's an incredible comic store. 😍 my 11 year old son screamed and ran around. Soo cool. So many things 2. Every wall and inch is lined with any and everything comic and if u will "nerd" culture.. 5 stars guys

Great variety of current and back issues, and other collectibles. Definetly coming back the next time I'm in town. Courteous staff. Military friendly.
