Ear Nose Throat Plastic Surgery - Marietta, Douglasville, Austell

To be honest, when I read the almost overwhelmingly abysmal reviews for this office, I, seriously, considered cancelling my appointment! With that said, I'm so glad that I didn't because my experience couldn't have been further from the polar opposite of the negative reviews I read online!

First, Bri, who was working at the front desk, greeted me just as soon as I entered the office, which is a really important thing to do especially when a patient is new or unfamiliar with a practice. Strike that: it is ALWAYS important to acknowledge patients when they enter an office regardless of whether or not they are a new or longstanding patient. I found Bri to be a wonderful combination of super sweet, upbeat, very polite and really good at her job, which requires the non-stop multi-tasking I witnessed, which makes her a triple threat, in my book!

Secondly, Brandi who assists Dr. Hairston was nothing less than … absolutely lovely! As she reviewed my paperwork, asking detailed questions so that she could prepare the doctor to see me, Brandi told me that she shares some of the same medical struggles that I do, which gave her an understanding and compassion I haven't experienced at any other doctor's office … ever … and while she most definitely connected with me, she in no way made it about her. She also explained everything that was happening, as it happened, which I really appreciated because not only was it my first visit to this office, but … it was also my first appointment at any ear, nose and throat doctor’s practice, so I, obviously, had no idea as to what to expect. When Brandi had to conduct a somewhat uncomfortable, although very minor, procedure, she routinely asked and made sure that I was okay. When I expressed that my throat was dry, she immediately offered to get and then got a small cup of water for me. In addition to coming across as someone who was both very good at and who enjoyed her job, she actually told me that she loves her work and that not only was she a very happy employee of this office, but that she was also a patient, and that spoke volumes to me!

But … the very best part of my appointment was when Dr. Jahmal Hairston entered the room! Dr. Hairston has the easiest and best way about him, [In the old days, we referred to this ability and skill as a bedside manner.] which immediately put me at ease, and it only took a few minutes for me to realize that the more he talked, presenting himself in the most professional and yet completely personable manner, that I really liked him. He came into my appointment having already familiarized himself with my paperwork which detailed my rather unique situation and he was able to treat me both immediately and affectively as a result! He even made a few suggestions and recommendations that never occurred to me, and while he is clearly a highly educated and experienced physician, he didn’t come across as even a little bit superior or aloof, as doctor’s often can and do.

I, personally, couldn’t be happier with the medical attention I received at Ear, Nose and Throat Plastic Surgery Center, [ENTPSC] Douglasville, and, as a result, I 100% recommend this office without any hesitation!
