Monique is hands down one of the best stylist that has installed a flawless sew-in for me. October Silk is beautiful and clean salon. I met Monique in 2018 when she styled my hair for my wedding and I can say I was very happy with my install and style; since then she has been the only one to do my installs. She is not only a great hairstylist but she also sales quality hair extensions as well. She is always on time, takes care of your natural hair, and also is very helpful when wanting to know how to maintain your style. For flawless and flat installs October Silk Beauty Lounge is by far the best for me.

I love the October Silk salon crew, especially Eryca! They are very professional, always on time, and do a great job. I have natural hair and I usually just go in for a wash and set/straightening with curls on the end. We have a good time as she’s a great listener and executes the style flawlessly.

I love coming to October Silk! The service is amazing and the way she schedules clients, I've never gone and wasted half my day watching her service other people. Monique takes care of my natural hair as well my beautiful extensions and I walk out with my hair laidttttttt to the gods! The location is perfect and her assistant has the most gentle hands when braiding my hair - I'm super tender headed so that means a lot. My edges are intact which is hard to come by. Highly recommend her and her staff. Monique makes everyone feel like an old friend as soon as they walk in the salon and she's got a client for life out of me!

I visited Monique's salon for the first time today. When I scheduled the appointment and spoke with her on the phone, I immediately felt like she was special, so I decided to take the 50 minute drive, in Atlanta traffic, to check her out. I was not wrong to do so. Monique's welcoming nature, her customer service skills, professionalism and her talent can't be beat. She's naturally personable, friendly and welcoming. Her salon is beautiful and you'll feel pampered and well taken care of, like you've been going to her for years. (she might also help you raise your social media game, like she did for me but that's a whole other story). Monique knows the beauty business. She's so talented. My hair was beautiful and everyone who saw her work wanted her contact information. I left looking and feeling beautiful and knowing I was going to be a repeat customer. You get the feeling you're in good hands just based on your consultation and her personality and then she proves you're in good hands throughout the process and when you see the finished product. Monique Moore was the stylist for my cousin's August 8, 2015 wedding,. She arrived with her work materials to the bridal suite on time. I actually had my weave curled at another salon to allow Monique to devout more time to those who were not able to do likewise & my Indian wavy weave had to be straightened & Shirley Temple-esque curled, per my cousin's request. My cousin felt that my hair looked too much like hers so Monique quickly styled my hair into quite a cute side sweep, keeping the curls intact! Winning!
