Love this gem! The jalapeño marg was 🔥and so was my smothered Carnitas burrito 😮‍💨 my friends’ plates looked so good too and the chips were so thin and crispy. Service was fast and so kind!

Due to location, street parking is very limited if you want to park near the restaurant. The restaurant has two entrances as well (one on Kraft Street and one on Manchester Avenue). I really wish they had a parking lot for diners. If you can't find parking, don't go up too far on Kraft Street as it's a residential street with lots of one way streets. When you come in, there is a hostess stand right up front and the bar is to your immediate right. There is a variety of seating (high chairs, standard tables and barstools). As with any Mexican/Tex-Mex spot, they start you off with chips and salsa. Their chips have SEASONING! It's seasoning you can see and taste and it's served with very fresh tomato heavy salsa. I had a Strawberry Margatini which is a really good cocktail. Since it was my family's first time there, they were unsure of what they wanted at first. Our waitress was very great about giving recommendations and notifying us of any modifcations that can be made. When our food arrived, it was hot, fresh and very light. You won't leave feeling bogged down with carbs even after eating the chips and salsa. They have plenty of hot sauce choices and the white queso is to die for! And although it's been my third time here, I cannot express enough gratitude to how attentive EVERY member of the staff is here. Make sure to keep your receipt as they have 15% off your purchase at Felix's Pizza in Dogtown, thier sister company!

First time and I really enjoyed the experience. Started with their jalapeno margarita. It was good but next time I’ll ask for it to be made with Patron, my favorite tequila. Then we ordered chips and queso. The chips had a dusting of a spice, I think it might be paprika. I think the queso was under seasoned. I ordered the carnitas fajitas. Thank you to our waitress for suggesting carnitas. I usually order the beef/carne asada fajitas. They were sooo tender and flavorful. I highly recommend them. Nice size serving and the fixings were delicious too. Our server was on top of everything and she was very friendly. The vibe of the restaurant was fun and family friendly. There’s plenty of parking on the street in front of the restaurant and along the side.

Cute spot for a quick bite. Bar offers many different liquors and there’s separate seating for a more intimate dining experience. Great visual presentation. Offers the basics when it comes to Tex-mex. Would have liked more meat on the nachos but they were still good.

We've been meaning to go here for a while and we had an opportunity yesterday. So glad we stopped in.
The atmosphere is bright and welcoming. The service was fantastic. The food was incredible. Everything tasted great. I highly recommend the stir fry and street corn. Best chips and salsa in the city for sure.

This place is a hidden gem! To start off, the chips were so thin and had tajin on them. The salsa was so yummy and fresh! I got the shrimp enchiladas, which were a special that day, and they were the best enchiladas I’ve ever had. My jalapeño margarita was also delicious. Also, the restaurant is cute and chic not like your typical Mexican restaurant atmosphere! Will definitely be back soon!

Some of the best tacos my wife and I have had. Super cute atmosphere. It was clean, bright, and very inviting. The staff was overly friendly, we were helped by 3 or 4 different people. The chips and salsa tasted very fresh. Our server told us about the tostada appetizer and it did NOT disappoint. The mimosa is a thirst quencher and again with the tacos! So much flavor and very filling. We will be coming back, soon!

We went to the restaurant because of the nice reviews, and we were super satisfied with the experience. All of the staff were extremely friendly, and we felt right at home during our first visit. The shrimp and chicken tacos, carne asada fries, and fried rice were all very tasty; the tacos were especially juicy and savory. It was definitely one of the best Mexican and Honduran food I have ever had, and I will not hesitate to come here again. Thank you for such a pleasant experience!

So glad I found this place. The hostess sat me down quickly and my server also came by promptly. I hate that I don’t remember her name! She was great. I told her I was from out of town and she made some small talk with me about it (us tourists love that stuff). She saw me looking at the Christmas cocktail specials, told me her favorite and I ordered it (the Christmas margarita one). The salsa that came with the chips was so good. The rice on the fajitas was the standout for me. It’s just rice, right?! But no, this was super flavorful and moist. Really everything was very tasty and the staff wasn’t just going through the motions, they were genuinely nice. Lively, bright atmosphere.

It's a different vibe for Mexican Food. Had the Chicken with shrimp fajita rice and my Lady had Carne Asada an Carnita tacos. The margaritas were strong.

Recently discovered this spot and so happy I did! I've been in Sunny's twice now and both times, I felt instantly cheerier just by walking in the door. The atmosphere is so friendly and bright. Food is also awesome! Love all the vegetarian options (including 2 diff chimichangas!!), and service has been A++ every time. Keep up the good work! :)

Had a nice dinner here with drinks. Chips and salsa aren't free but they're very upfront about it. Tostada stack was good but the grilled cheese was super tasty. I didn't know what to expect with that one and was very pleasantly surprised.

One word: AMAZING! The chips and salsa were delicious! The tostada was soooooo good! Flavorful, filling and I really appreciated the freshness! My violet drink was really good! Super clean inside and staff was really friendly! I will DEFINITELY be back for more!!!

This place is amazing. I always have to start with the Carne Asada fries. The wedges are perfect for all the yummy toppings. They have a great twist on a jalapeno popper too, yum. I have liked everything I have tried here. Great service & food.

This place really might be the perfect Mexican hangout restaurant. The patio is right on the quietest stretch of Manchester road and very pleasant.

Got the weekly special enchiladas. This week's special: birria. Lucky me!! They are made each morning which might sound unappealing. But then they are warmed on the flattop and the corn tortilla has a crispness almost like a taquito. Three come to a plate, around the size of a fat cigar. These are corn tortillas, not those limp, overstuffed flour ones you get elsewhere. Drowned in sauce?? Yep!! Homemade enchilada sauce that has the right balance of heat and sweet and was thick, not runny. Delicious. Best enchiladas ever.

The Spanish rice is saffron and spices, not tomato based. I would brag about it but my daughter ate it all off my plate before I got more than one bite.

Don't skip the queso. Best queso around. Queso Blanco with peppers. And the tortilla chips are thin and crisp, clearly made in the store.

I highly recommend trying your way through the drink menu as well. The capirinha was a great tang to off-set the queso and sauces. My wife had a tequila drink with several tropical fruit purees. It was a little sweet for me but still delicious.

I am working my way through a 16-spot Mexican restaurant bracket. This is currently the best in Saint Louis!

My Wife and I have been wanting to try this place for a while now, and finally went there for lunch. WOW!!! What a phenomenal restaurant, absolutely great atmosphere, wonderful service, and the food...outstanding. The salsa is the perfect blend of sweet and spicy, i think maybe it is a sun-dried tomato salsa. Their Queso is a bit on the sweeter side, but great nonetheless.
Their food is more of a work of art, so much so I was almost sad to mess it up when I ate it; until the first bite that is! We were approached several times by management to make sure our experience was top notch, so the customer service, like the food, is excellent.
This will definitely become our new Mexican go-to.

We had a group of 5 for lunch on a Saturday. The food was excellent and the servings were plentiful. The place is neat and clean and orderly.
