Walgreens

I was at this location yesterday for my Covid vaccine. Despite the entire store being understaffed--an issue for management, not the staff--I give the staff 5 stars for their professionali. Everyone I interacted was polite, kind and informative. The pharmacy staffer who took my information was friendly and let me know up front the wait time I could expect. The pharmacist, who was working alone, provided the vaccine at the exact time I expected. The pharmacist was friendly and calm, even with all the demands of filling prescriptions and answering patient questions from those in the drive through line, on the phone and at the counter. He did not rush the process and was willing to answer all questions. Walgreen's is lucky to have such reliable and conscientious staff. My hope is that all of us can be more patient with those who serve us--it can't be easy when so many of us are in such a rush and so centered on ourselves.

I love this Walgreens. Has to be my favorite retail staff of all time. Specific shout outs to the girl who is always singing really early in the morning when she thinks no one is there and the guy with the really deep voice with whom I have shared multiple laughs while buying energy drinks. Good vibes here fr.

Have lots of stuff needed for home, body pain meds, candles , cleaning stuff . They are pricey but convenient for that time needed

We are beyond impressed with Carl (Manchester and McCausland location, St. Louis, MO). On a variety of occasions he has provided us with a level of customer care we have not experienced in quite some time. His demeanor has always been customer first, he is polite and extremely knowledgeable. Half a dozen times similarly, however most recently, my wife needed an immediate prescription that none of the area Walgreens could fill due to lack of ingredients. Our doctor suggested a temporary alternative that Carl helped us with. He (once again) came out from behind his station, helped us select the appropriate product and even determined the most cost effective amount. Absolutely a great hire, congratulations on your determination to employ him.

Walgreens is great for quick "in and out" visits. They carry almost anything that you would need... everything from diapers to motor oil...in clean, well lit stores. Many are open late and some locations are open 24 hours. They have a photo department and a pharmacy and some even have a drive through pharmacy!
The employees are very friendly and helpful. You WILL pay for the convenience though, as their prices are higher than Walmart or Target, but not as high as their competition...CVS.

So glad they were open late, we bought Amy's dishes for dinner. Livin' the high life :)
