Shanti Yoga - Tower Grove

Shanti Yoga is such a welcoming community with amazing teachers. I feel much more grounded since starting yoga again. There’s a great variety of classes and teachers. Also the new studio is beautiful!

Beautiful studio conveniently located across the street from Tower Grove Park. All the instructors are amazing and I highly recommend Dirk’s Foundation and Paul’s Vin-Yin Hot classes.

I have so enjoyed practicing at Shanti! I love the variety of classes they offer, and I’m so grateful to have the continued option of outdoor classes. I have been able to practice with a few of Shanti’s teachers, and each one offers a unique experience while staying tuned in to the students. I’ve had to reach out about a class pass issue, and the response I received was swift and thoughtful. Looking forward to continuing to incorporate yoga with Shanti in my routine!

I've had a great experience during my first month at Shanti. There is a wide variety of classes and class times, all of the instructors are welcoming, and each class is thoughtful. It's been wonderful to have the option to take virtual classes live but there is a lot of flexibility to take classes on your own time through recordings. I highly recommend practicing with Shanti!

Couldn't be happier with Shanti Yoga and it's instructors! The website and app are very convenient to book as a member. I'm impressed with their covid policies and how they've enforced mask wearing. It's made me proud to support a responsible business during this time. I would only like to see more classes during the day.

I am a larger person. It wasn't easy for me to begin going to yoga in the first place years ago and even here, I struggled. It's quite intimidating to go into these spaces as the only plus size person in some classes. At Shanti, the instructors give options for poses, reminders that all poses look different to each body, and hold space for exploring and shaking in our bodies. After some work of internalizing those reminders and spaces, I finally feel extremely comfortable coming into class and practicing as I am.

I am really really happy to be a member of Shanti Yoga.

I started 30 days for 30 bucks at the beginning of June 2019. As of June 12th, I have attended 10 classes with 4 different instructors. Shanti Yoga has a strong combination of instructors, yoga styles, and distribution of classes throughout the week. Both locations are comfortable and welcoming. I am looking forward to experiencing the instructors and classes for which I have yet to attend. I highly recommend trying out the 30 days for 30 bucks. You will not be disappointed.

I normally avoid the meditative side of yoga but after a trying week, I signed up for a sound bath class and it was so peaceful and just what I needed. Amazing experience, love Katie!

Consistently great guidance and lovely yoga. I appreciate that after opening the studio they continued providing outside classes. I never new how much I enjoyed/prefer doing yoga under those big trees in tower grove park until shanti! ❤

I've fallen head over heels for this studio. I love the mix of classes (from strength and power focused classes to more restorative ones). I love the the space (the light pours in during daytime classes). I love that I feel supported (by instructors, by the community). And last but not least, I love any studio that offers a free, quality mat for use during class.

I’ve been attending Shanti for almost four years. It’s always been a welcoming community, and over the past year it’s been even more than that for me; a place to heal in time of sickness, and a place to gather (outdoors/online) in a time of isolation. I’ve been a member for years, and I’ll stay a member for years to come.

I love all of the teachers at the South City location. Amazing people and atmosphere, and it is crazy to see my development in yoga over time after attending those classes!

Great neighborhood yoga on the edge of Tower Grove Park. A variety of different classes and times. All the gear you need in house. Perfect suited for regular classes.

This studio is absolutely lovely. The space is warm and inviting, easy to find, and a good size. I highly recommend this studio for all levels and practices.
