Visiting and told our host that I am plant based. We went here for dinner. I had the mushroom ravioli with brussel sprouts. It was delicious. So many layers of flavor. My dinner mates enjoyed their meals as well. The service was amazing. And the atmosphere is even better. Great for dinner with friends or date night.

Tree House Restaurant on South Grand in St. Louis was established in 2013 and offers a fantastic option for vegans and vegetarians. It’s challenging to be strict vegan without getting a little bored. This spot can assist!

Went for brunch. While I’m no longer vegan, I appreciate the creativity and ingredient excellence at this spot. I recently enjoyed their Desayuno Latino, featuring a black bean and vegetable stuffed masa cake with flavorful house-made sauces and perfectly cooked eggs, accompanied by breakfast potatoes.

The trendy atmosphere, full bar, and friendly, quick service make it a must-visit spot. Overall, a bright and cheerful gem offering a great vegan option in our community.

We stopped in without reservations at a slow time. The place filled while we ate. The staff was friendly and attentive. The QR code menu is awkward but I'm sure it makes alterations easier.

We ordered chorizo queso that was delicious. The texture is more like refried beans than crumbles with a cheese sauce on top. The onion and tomato on top varied the taste of each bite.

We had a patty melt with mushrooms and Gouda that was wonderful. The side of potatoes was done really well too.

Also had the wild mushroom ravioli topped with flash fried in Brussels and tomatoes. The cashew scream sauce was amazing. The flavors were bold but the flavor varied in each bite. I love that!

We each ordered a hot tea. I loved my tropical one. They have a bar and offer plenty of drinks options. I just don't drink anymore.

Excellent well thought out, executed, and presented dishes. Not just great vegetarian dishes, but great dishes, period. The Brussels sprout salad, smoked maitake mushrooms, and bread pudding are amazing. Fun and tasty drink menu also. Great spot.

We came to St.Louis for a little birthday getaway and I had to check out this place and it did not disappoint! We started with dinner (with reservations) on a Saturday night. We found street parking nearby and walked a short distance. We were greeted by our server Antonia not long after we arrived. My partner ordered a NA cocktail made with NA spirits and I had the “plum blossom” cocktail- literally was such a great cocktail I wanted to savor every sip.
For appetizers we got the krab rangoon and hush puppies with the amazing vegan ranch sauce (we asked for more). All of the food came out in a timely manner by the friendly servers. The flavors were perfectly balanced and sauces paired well with them. For dinner he got the “smoked maitake mushrooms” dish and I got the “mushroom ravioli with brussel sprouts.”
My dish was served hot and the crispy brussel sprouts went well with the creamy and savory ravioli. My partner had his eyes closed and ate the slowest I’d ever seen him eat- he savored every bite (and he’s an omnivore!)
For dessert we got the cinnamon roll bread pudding that was served with a cute birthday candle. It was served with a rich warm chocolate sauce. We scraped our plates clean! Our server Antonia was sweet, attentive, and personable with our experience. This place is one of my favorite restaurants I have ever been to and my (omnivore) partner said that was one of the best dinners he’s ever had in a long time.

We enjoyed excellent food and service tonight. The mushroom and polenta dish was recommended by our waiter and was particularly outstanding! Everyone in our group loved their food and we felt the prices were more than reasonable for the high quality. We will definitely return!

This place never disappoints! Even my carnivore husband enjoys a meal here. Been here so many times, I love that they switch up the menu with seasonal offerings , but, some of the menu still stays the same. We really enjoy eating outdoors on their patio, but, don't mind eating inside during the winter. Serving staff has been exceptional every time we've come. Never rush us out and always able to answer my husbands questions about the menu!

Cute place with bar, dining and patio service. No TVs. Drink menu was creative. Service pretty slow but only two servers and place was packed. Food had good flavor although gnocchi was too salty and brussels sprout salad was more just roasted brussels sprouts vs what i was expecting. Cheesecake was just ok but crust was good. I would come back and try other items on menu. Nice casual ambience.

We had one of the most fabulous meals and experiences here. The food is all homemade and so delicious! The staff is top notch and everything flowed perfectly out of the kitchen and onto our table. My review can't do it justice.

Everything about this place was top notch! The service was great and the food was amazing. We are vegan and gluten free and they have a lot of options and it was all delicious.

A huge positive, we didn’t leave feeling heavy or like we just ate a bunch of processed food. You could tell the ingredients were high quality and made scratch.

My husband who is not vegan, loved it all. His favorite dishes were the brussel sprout salad and the Jalepeno cornbread bites. Mine was also the brussel sprout salad, the beet fries and the “sausage” cheese (I forget the name) dip w/house chips.

We will definitely be back for another date night.

Great vegan food with an elegant menu selection, definitely a good choice for a date night. Very friendly and willing to work with any dietary needs like gluten-free, no oil, etc.. It does get pretty busy, so depending on the time you go, it might be better to have a reservation. I wish they were open during the week for lunch. I would go back more often if they were.

If you’re not vegan/vegetarian this please has the goodness to change your mind! I even think most kids would eat this 🙂

This place is great! Staff really bring the atmosphere and dining experience to a personal level. I went with my mother for her birthday and my little brother. We ordered a few small plates and a few large plates. Sicilian meatballs as well as beet fries were executed flawlessly. Creative well composed menu, relaxed environment. Treehouse is a embodiment of the neighborhood I highly reccomend.

This was my first time having brunch here and it was absolutely phenomenal. Everyone was very friendly and the food was prepared perfectly. We had the big breakfast plate, biscuits and gravy, and Brussels sprouts salad. They were offering giant cinnamon rolls as well. Everything was perfect. Best brunch ever.

Jackson, our sever, was great. All the staff was helpful and kind. I ordered the brussel sprouts salad. I loved it, will order again.

All the food here looked incredible and wish I could have tried it all. I tried the maitake mushrooms, crab rangoon, wild mushroom stuffed ravioli, carrot cake, bread pudding, and lemon meringue parfait. Wow oh wow! I have no words for how amazing the food, staff, and atmosphere was! Can't recommend this place enough!

I love that everything was vegan by default even though they offer vegetarian options!

Absolutely delicious. Fine dining taste without the stuffy atmosphere.

Do yourself a favor and try the spiced sangria.

I would be happy eating here every week till I tried the whole menu! I hot the mushroom ravioli and my partner got the pasta florentine, and we got fried beets. All of it was so good.

Well that was a wonderful surprise. So... I'm a pretty dedicated meat eater. Like, the raised on a cattle farm fishing and hunting kind. My stepdaughter, however, is a vegetarian and it was her birthday, so here we were. I like veggies, don't get me wrong.... But usually I want some steak with my potatoes.

I'd give this place 6 stars if it'd let me. 10. 51 even! 52 might be pushing it, nothing was covered in gold leaf.

We ate family/tasting style, so we could all try it all, and man... Not one bad dish. Everything was SO flavorful, and satisfying, didn't miss meat a bit. The one thing with psuedomeat (a sausage) was outSTANDing. So so so well seasoned. We'll be back. Often!

Went for dinner and had a wonderful gluten free polenta with Japanese mushrooms which was on the specials of the day. It's nice when a restaurant has an espresso machine, but one thing that could be better is offering decaf espresso.

The food is elegant and clean and the dining experience was superb. The seitan duck had an incredible balance of flavors and the effectively dehydrated basil added a surprising burst of crunch and flavor. Some of the best seitan I’ve had, texture was spot on and well proportioned for the size of the plate.

I couldn’t stop there though. The jackfruit sopes was also incredible. From the drizzled avocado salsa on the outside to the amazing vegan cream sauce down to the sopes base itself, it was just more flavor and delightful texture than I was prepared to handle. But you know I handled it. You know this. Handled it strong.

I ordered two shots of reposado and these folks went ahead and chilled it for me without prompt. When I noted its cloudiness, which was totally expected and due to the chilling, they filtered the next one so it was clear. I mean, come on! Such attention to detail and high end service. Beers on draft were fresh and delicious.

I finished it off with the cheesecake. OMG. Sugar bomb, but otherwise healthy ingredients, felt good going down paired with the last swill of local pale ale.

#1 feeling pretty darned satisfied here. Thank you folks for all you did to make my last meal of the trip such a great experience.
