Walgreens Pharmacy

I love this store. I mostly use it for the pharmacy and they are fast and friendly, well above my experience at another nearby pharmacy, which I no longer use. I've had 3 covid tests here through the drive through and the entire process was fast and simple. Results returned in less than an hour.

Very friendly cashiers. One went out of her way to help me find an item,and the other apologized that she didn’t get to help! I like the layout and parking. Don’t understand why so many bad reviews. I think most of them are about the vaccine, and I wasn’t there for that. A lot of the bad ones are 2 years old

Friendliest staff anywhere. Go in there more than a handful of times and you will be treated like family. Every employee for the most part takes the time to get to know their customers by name

New store...

For all those complaining about the closing of two other locations to open this one…GET OVER IT. It’s more modern, up-to-date and a hell-of-a-lot cleaner. Plus the staff seems to go out of their way to help find things when you don’t know where to look. For my own personal reasons…this location has a BIKE RACK! The other two did not. I want to feel at least halfway secure knowing when I come back out my $1,000 bike will still be there. Go ahead & laugh if you want. But, consider this… For the last 11 years I haven’t bought a drop of gasoline. And I DON’T rely on cheap discount store bikes for transportation.

On a happy note also, it’s within walking distance of my favorite Tex-Mex restaurant – Taco Circus! Mmmm…good.

The staff are very helpful and friendly but this new store is very stark and utilitarian. It often reminds me of the 1980s Moscow grocery store in The Americans. Half of the shelves, especially in the skin care aisle, are empty! Items that I bought at the Arsenal store for years are no longer to be found. They seem to be begging me to order more and more things from Amazon.

They closed the one off Arsenal & Kingshighway and open this location down the street. They have been open for almost a month but they’re ATM still isn’t up, if your trying to add money on a card doesn’t work, and their credit card swiper barely works at the first register. A little smaller store as well compared to others so not a lot of options. Good customer service.

Turned away from my vaccine booster appointment after the online portal had already approved me and I had to wait for the pharmacist for an hour, because I was a couple days early to the 6 month mark. My schedule is extremely busy and it threw a wrench in my whole day and I have no idea when or if I will have time to do the vaccine booster in the future. Either fix the online portal or allow everyone approved online to get it.

I’ve never had a bad experience here but the updated pharmacy hours to close at 7pm is nearly impossible for my schedule

Waited for over an hour on the phone multiple times. It appears they take you off their main line to the side line to hold for longer when you get through the call cue. There is one caller ahead of you- to hold music for 58 minutes and they never picked up.

On a recent visit to the drive through they couldn’t make my card swipe (I use it all the time with no problem). They took my card out of view, and came back saying “it’s asking for a pin.” When I showed concern they said “I won’t be taking the card if you don’t give me the pin, or you can come inside.” Having an infant in the car I could not come inside. Super sus and terrible customer service.

This place should be a tourist attraction for people from countries like Korea, India, Germany, or New Zealand where heathcare is a more developed part of a healthy society.

It’s hilarious that Walgreens and CVS are the only places to get a Covid booster, but even if you have an appointment they’re so understaffed you’ll wait at least an extra 30-45 mins before even getting your paperwork.

I felt so bad for the one pharmacist and one tech/assistant on duty, who were doing scripts, drive through, cash register, and vaccinations. This review is not for them but for companies who are trusted to be a part of our healthcare system but can’t pay their staff well enough for people to want to work there. We are in trouble if another pandemic comes. Things are worse now in our healthcare system than before Covid, not better. If we lean on companies like Walgreens, things are only gonna get worse

Later that day I went back and talked to the pharmacy supervisor and they said they would send her for more training. Wouldn't tell me her name. The cashier was a bigger girl with dreads and glasses. If she can't pick up money on the counter then maybe she shouldn't work there. So beyond rude. Lazy to show no customer service. I expected to maybe get the hair color I was hoping to get. Ruined my whole day. Just be nice. You don't know what others are going through.

Never ready when they say; delivery orders just disappear altogether causing huge issues with insurance.

I actually had planned to never visit this location after an experience inhadn9ver the summer and I had not been back until yesterday. Now, I truly never plan to never visit this location again ever. It is unfortunatebecUse it tight right thebstreet from my job and on the way home. I just to live the other 2 store they had in tr he area before they combined them into this one.. I normally don't take such a hard stance about stores, but LV Health and Welness is my new pharmacy and I will have to break down and go to Walmart for my personal items. I had a return and they refused to accept it. They didn't even look at the receipt. They just kept saying its seasonal and we cannot resale it. Then you send it back to the manufacturer. I only go to the E. St. Louis location, but I was close to this one and was like I'm going to go in really quickly and return it. But not I do not plan to support any Walgreenswver again. I have only had discriminatory and bias experiences here and this was my 3rd and last time going. I used to enjoy going to walgreens and would spend close to 75.00 every month. It was something about it. Also their customer service line workers are inept. I was on the phone for over 30 minutes because Keisha could not take my complaint properly. Her supervisor Chiquita ended up having to take it. I am thoroughly disappointed that the store refused my return and did not offer me a store credit. CVS here I come!!!

I live very close to this location. I find them very rude. A cashier named Mary is VERY RUDE !!! I came to get my booster shot and was turned away. They told me I had to fill out some information on line and the site would not let me set up appointment . I am very disappointed in this store! Isn't walgreens a walk in site for vactions?

had an urgent care appt at 8:30am at an ssm facility, was out and prescribed meds by 9am, and it is 3pm and this location still hasn't filled them.

Closed two good stores to open this new, cheap looking, industrial box of a store with half the merchandise of either other store before this one..definitely a bad move on Walgreens. Cheap, parking lot is atrocious, set up horribly. Not using Walgreens anymore locally
