Love Kiener Plaza. Great views of the Gateway Arch, Old Courthouse and St. Louis architecture. You can find many cool events here all year long.

Absolutely beautiful park. Lovely statues, safe walking area, free events, walking distance to the arch. I highly recommend it! Especially during the winter season for winterfest.

The center of downtown, close parking, the best arch view, clean, and an abstract playground that encourages some natural play in a nicely fenced area.

Exciting night, new years eve! Also the end of winterfest, had a good time were prepared and had yhe opportunity to enjoy it but it ended at 8 and every weekend they had it prior was the same which is understandable but maybe next time for this specific event 8 is early to end a celebration and especially with fireworks, my opinion. All told still a great night and memory for new years or anytime during its open run over the month of December. something fun with also a different dynamic in the fact that they had a ice rink. I point this out because it screams winter/Christmas. Inthemselfs already scarce in most citys you rarley see them any longer because of profitability problems with the thermal enveloping of ice arenas and the overall cost associated with matinance and general day to day upkeep and overhead bills encured if your not making large profit margins fairly soon. Needless to say it draws a crowd and I'm excited to see this become a st.louis tradition entrenched in me as deep as toasted ravs!

An absolutely beautiful park. We can see it from our hotel room and I designed the park is gorgeous. Walking through the park. It’s very spacious and open knowing what it look like from above and then walking through the park. Definitely made a difference.

This is a nice enough city park to sit around and relax for a while. There were some decent musicians/buskers while we were there. It was even used for a private event on our first attempt to visit it. But the main attraction for me is the view you can get with the Old Courthouse and the Gateway Arch just above it. I was hoping to get a skyline shot from the park across the river. That didn't work out though due to some bridge closures so was happy to get this view instead

This park is a must stop location if you are spending time in St. Louis. You get an incredible view of the old courthouse with the arch perfectly going over it.

Pro tip with taking pictures from a distance. Zoom in on your camera and it pulls the background closer to your subject. It makes the arch seem closer than it is. I added 2 photo is of my wife and I with one picture we used zoom at x2 to make the arch bigger and one at x1 (standard photo) but stood closer. Both photos the camera was in the exact same spot. Zooming in makes a huge difference when trying to capture you in front of a distant item! Hope you appreciate the travel photo tip!

This park always had something going on. Kids loved playing in the park. Several people were riding bikes, a few people were dancing, and some plying music. We caught a whole dance crew that was filming some routines. That was really neat. Come in the evening especially during the spring or late fall when not many people will be around so you can get photos with almost nobody around.

The Kiener plaza is a small park offering great views of the Old Courthouse and the gateway arch, a real treasure in the city centre.

Kiener Plaza is like a town square for the city of St. Louis. New buildings overlooking the ballpark and the historic Old Courthouse (which has museum exhibit rooms) frame the park. Also the Wainwright Building is on its west side. This building, designed by Louis Sullivan, is considered to be the first steel-frame office building, built in the 1800s. Kiener himself is memorialized by a statue titled "The Runner". He was an athlete at the 1904 St. Louis Olympic Games. I always park on the street nearby, and it is within walking distance of the Gateway Arch. For children, there are structures that are fun to climb on.

The park itself is a nice go-to place for a casual visit, sit down and sip coffee, have the little ones play in the kids area, or ice skating during the winters. What makes it more special is that during holidays time (Christmas), it’s lit up so nice with a tree, and lights, surrounded by warm igloos where you can go rest in between, and also there’s a coffee truck that has few good options. A must visit place for a casual and relaxed evening during Christmas.

Beautifully redone downtown park with tons of history all around. Plenty of room for the whole family and within a quick walk to the arch grounds. Definitely a must-stop if you're going through the Lou!

Celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary 12/10 with a walk through the Kiener Plaza Park display of lights, was very nice and quiet. It's a welcome to his hometown of St. Louis. We love the Summer vibe with the concerts, food and water fountains, but the Winter just may be our favorite time here!

Went here during the winter and it was the place to bring your family if you wanted to enjoy winter activities. They had an ice rink opened. There was no issues with parking. If you were hungry, you could walk to a nearby restaurant. Beautiful park.

We reserved an Igloo and had the best time with our friends, for my partners birthday. Two hours was the perfect amount of time. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the Caterers were great too. Charcuterie and a Dogtown pizza, glorious. Book yours today.

One of the best photo spot to take photos for Arch behind the old courthouse. It’s better to visit in the afternoon otherwise the sun will in your photo. A lot of street parking spaces, as long as it’s not close to the cardinal game time.
