NC DMV Vehicle and License Plate Renewal

Quick as a DMV can. They were extremely helpful. They gave me the information I needed to move forward with handling my taxes and licensing ventures.

My first time here though the line was very long it moved very quickly ! The three women working were helpful/proffesional/nice too! Thanks Sasha you made my morning !

The lady was very good at her job .Very pleasant experience in and out in 5 to 10 minutes.

The line was long, but it did move quickly!! The staff was knowledgeable and efficient. I completely forgot notary fees had to be in cash (it does state this online), but they let me go ahead and pay for everything else with card, run to the atm (luckily in the same parking lot), and bring back the cash. Most places would tell you to jump to the back of the line, but I appreciate that they did not!

Good service but too much traffic for such a small office. There is always a line and today it was cold and they would only let 5 customers in at a time but it was 5 people not customers. There was one with several children and no one could enter because of all the children. Really held up the line.

The lady on the right is such a rude toned woman. 5 stars because she's over-the-top at being rude. I love you, please be kinder-er-er-errr

Had a very pleasant experience. I had to go for a title lien change. Got there about 10 minutes after opening and there were 10-15 in line. I was in and out in less than 25 minutes. I also heard they were short staffed due to sick kids. Very friendly and helpful!

The line moves really fast. Super helpful and amazing management.There was a long line when I reached in the morning but it moved super fast. Have $5 in cash
Tip:
1. Have some change in $ when you go in. Better if you can have 10 $1 bills or 2 $5 bills to be safe.
2.Try going early morning if you can do that and reach by 8:30am. The DMV opens at 9:00 am. You’ll be in an out soon.

Five stars for service. The employees were dealing with a slow computer system issue that make my wait a two hour wait. Every time that an employee would greet a customer, they would do it politely and would apologize for the delays. When the clerk review my case and help me get my new license, she explained every step making sure she made clear that the idle time was due to the computer system. Everyone was very approachable and helpful.

Easier than ever before! Only had one person in front of me and waited less than 5 minutes. It looked like all the positions were filled with workers and they were efficient. The woman that helped me with 2 titles was very easy and nice. Thanks!

Super Fast (and Friendly) today. Hit it at just the right time, very few people waiting in line outside to get inside (only 5 people at a time inside) and was in line, then inside, and back out within 5 minutes or so with my Renewal. Awesome!!! 🙂👍👍👍

Upside: FIVE STARS The two younger employees that do the titles were awesome. They made everything super easy. They both made it so simple and were both patient and knowledable. Thank you ladies!!!

Downside : ZERO STARS The old lady at the solo desk next to the title line was not nice yelling at everyone that there was two lines with an ugly attitude but luckily did not have to deal with her outside of being yelled at. What a sad life it must be for her to be that bitter.

People here were so very kind and considerate. Tag transfers take time but they went above and beyond to help my elderly motherly. Michelle was absolutely amazing! Thank you all for your kindness.

Todays visit was quick. I like that. The line was long but given the 6 ft separation that would be expected. Given this...it still went very quickly. This was my first time using the DMV office since moving to Winston-Salem last year. Very impressive.

I was surprised there was no line. Took about fifteen minutes wait time. Those young ladies have been there forever...lol (experienced).

There were several people in both lines, but the renewal line was going fast. I was in the title line and was in and out of the office within 20 minutes total. Renewal got through 3-4 people in that time. I was there at 915 on a Wednesday if that made the difference from other people's experience. Heads up, the $5 notary fee for title is CASH ONLY. The rest can be paid by check or card.

Great customer service.
But your going to wait outside in line at least 45 minutes.

Today was a short line and service was great. Thumbs up to the lady who work on the far right as you come in very friendly and very professional

As always great service, friendly people, but could use some seating outside for the waiting line. People my age and handicap people need that. Other than that one item all was great.
