J And J Food Mart

We went today for the first time and picked up lunch to take to the park. We ordered ahead and then got a couple of extra items that weren’t on the online menu once we arrived. The chicken was the best in town - hot, fresh and very reasonably priced. Even though the chicken is fried, it doesn’t seem at all greasy. The staff were all so friendly and when we mentioned it was our first visit, they gave us chicken nuggets to try - just couldn’t have been nicer or more friendly! Would recommend and will definitely be back!

As a fried chicken enthusiast, I can confidently say that J and J Food Mart is an absolute gem in town! The aroma of their fried chicken as soon as I walked in made my mouth water with anticipation.

Good A** Chicken! I haven't been to this location in years because I moved. My mom and I decided to swing by for lunch and there was no change! Food was still on point! So good I am going to try the catering!

Ya'll! Just discovered the best fried chicken in town! Sauces are fabulous, and potato wedges are the bomb! Let's keep this place busy! The picture was after we dug into it sorry for that.

This little foodmart has a little kitchen in the back. I can not say this loud enough..."GOOD COOKING!" It is all good! Now some of it can be spicy and make your eyes water, but it's still good! Finger licking is good! Don't take my word for it. Go try it.

Second time going ,very good and the food was hot

Ever wanted to try a hole in the wall restaurant somewhere in Winston? I love their wings, potato wedges, awesome honey mustard sauce but of course let’s not forget their spicy chicken sandwich with their awesome sauce with pickles! Every bite had a crunch and their service is always down to earth. Let your cheat day be the best relationship you ever had for your tummy lol enjoy! Keep it simple n don’t let the outside scare ya, the dream starts at their menu ;)

Okay this establishment is clean safe and the hospitality is good, I stop here to refresh myself and my associates we're bike riders, just merely riding around WSNC for excersise and spiritual enjoyments. So this establishment we felt safe and appreciated, and the employees smiled and weren't on their cell phones now that's a plus. We will be back

My husband and I heard about their chicken and fish. It was good and the service was great. We will be back 😊

I stumbled upon this place months ago, and was like what in heck? A kitchen in a gas station. The gas station cheesecake is also good btw. I had also seen about it on social media. I got the chicken Sammy today. It’s one of the best chicken sandwiches I have ever had. Price is super cheap. Don’t be scared of it cause it is in a gas station. Dudes working were also very friendly.

Best deal in town! This chicken is so moist and delicious. Every time I had someone visit I’d take them here to get real fried chicken. This chicken is fresh af. I am distraught that I no longer live in the area and cannot go here anymore.

Today one of the Fire Chiefs picked up fish sandwiches for us after i told them i have been going there regularly. They had to try and now they are hooked to! I have never been disappointed. It was amazing, season perfectly!

Today was my first time eating there, I was having dinner at the village tavern the other night and my favorite subject came up chicken wings as it always does and a few people in my dinner party began to ask if I had eaten at J an J food mart they went on to say how good the chicken tasted and that it was priced at a reasonable price. I was going to stop at church's chicken and remembered what I had been told about this place so I passed by church's and ended up at J an J food mart and I'm glad I did I was truly satisfied with the quality of my food and even better the wings were 50 cent a peice now I'm full I'm pleased and I have plenty chicken wings left. I will be going back thanks Jasper and Mark your customer service was great

I Love the fish , shrimp , wings etc.. everything Food is A+ Priced reasonably .
The men who are in there cooking and taking orders are the absolute best their Excellent customer service is valuable to me 💯 be prepared to wait 10 minutes as they cook your order just right . The location is at the edge of the hood so be TOTALLY aware of your surroundings at all times .

Came by to get some candied fruit on my way to the airport! They didn't disappoint at all!

They have the best chicken "nuggets" and potato wedges! Awesome prices for great food! 12 piece nuggets with potatoe wedges as a side is like $6! Call ahead to order bigger orders and they will have it ready in usually under 30 minutes.

Had the lemon pepper wings... no hair, no feathers, and they were delicious! I will go back

Best wings in Winston! I got the daily special. 6 wings (cooked to perfection), plenty of wedges, a King Hawaiian roll & a 12oz. soda for 6.39! Best lunch ever! Might be dinner tonight lol
