For a small town "hole in the wall" this place beat my expectations. KC was our server and she was friendly and helpful with the menu as it was our first time here.

We started with jalapeño poppers and they were amazing. Peppers inside were soft so when you bite into them they dont pull right out of the breading, breading was gold and crisp. 10/10 there.

I got the chicken breast, pinto beans, mac&cheese and cornbread. Chicken was flavorful and fairly moist. Beans and onions were good and I'll be back for more. Mac and cheese was good(a few cold spots however) and the cornbread was soft, moist about as good as I've had hear in NC.

She had chicken tenders collard greens and Mac and cheese. She had no complaints, specifically said the ranch was great. Collard greens better than she's had before.

Now, this is a total hidden gem if you aren't from around there like my wife and I. I had the seafood platter, which comes with shrimp, deviled crab, and your choice of fish. I chose perch, but they also had a couple of other options to choose from. I also got collard greens and black eye peas for my 2 sides, and none of it disappointed. The only issue for me is that the batter for the shrimp was a little to salty, but I still ate as much as I could of it. As close to a perfect plate of food, I ate on vacation. The sweet tea was amazing

Can’t say a bad thing about this place. In the fall they got the best soup you could ask for. All year round the food is delicious. Anytime we are in the area we make sure to stop here and eat. Down home cooking. Very friendly service. Priced just right. FYI: they don’t take debit/credit cards. ATM is located inside. Bring cash. It’s a great place to bring the whole family. I highly recommend stopping here if your in the area.

This is the best place in 50 miles for flounder. The fillets were large and thick, the half order was more than I could eat.

Looking for a country gem I found you one.

Wonderful country diner with a great selection of delicious meals, friendly and attentive staff, plus a welcoming country-themed atmosphere.

First time here under new management. The place was packed. Did have to wait for our food for awhile but it was worth it. I got the special which was Country Style Steak with mash taters and Mac & Cheese. Food was fantastic, service was fantastic, staff was friendly. Highly recommend this place. Whatever y'all do to the mash taters and Mac and cheese please do NOT change it lol.

Hands down one of the best little restaurants you will eat at and prices are good as well not expensive at all . I highly recommend this to anybody asking for a great place to go eat .

So Tues and thur they have homemade biscuits like granny maid very nice grill

Had the pot roast, was absolutely wonderful. This is one of those locally well known eateries that is fantastic. Have eaten here many times and every dish is just as good as any other. The place is clean, staff is pretty friendly. You may even get a chance to run into an ole friend. I will return to dine again

Was my 1st time there I will go back for sure me and my wife loved the food,and this place is super clean with awesome service can't wait to come back,there country fried steak with gravy was awesome and the burger and fries was also,big helpings of food definitely a 5 star grill.

Since they have remodeled the restaurant, the interior looks amazing. The staff is always friendly and the food is excellent. The manager makes sure that the restaurant is clean and that the staff is at your table within a minute or two of you sitting down. Tasty "home cooked" meals are waiting for you here. If you are ever in the area and craving a bite to eat, make sure you stop here to fill your belly.

Stopped in for a quick lunch andit was a great decision. Simply amazing, fresh, great tasting , cook to order food, the attention to detail with everything is astounding. Great food, great customer service, GREAT experience!

My husband Bill and I eat there 2 to 3 times a week on average
and see a lot of the locals when we are there. Huge variety of food to choose from and very generous portions.
The owners are polite and friendly and take pride in the quality of their food.
Been going right at 2 years and so blessed to have found this place
and look forward to many more years to come

Purchased pickup. I had the daily special pot roast, (real, homemade mashed potatoes) fried okra and cornbread. EVERYTHING was delicious!! Little touches such as placing the okra in a separate tray so it would not get soggy!! My husband had the double cheeseburger and the best onion rings we have had in a long time. Great prices!!

The food and value were on par. However, it was the customer service and cleanliness of this charming country restaurant that put it over the top for me!! My family and I will definitely be back!

This place has the best seasoned fries around. I heard they may go to a Krinkle Cut fry which in my opinion would be a mistake.
