I have been a patient of Dr. Gupta's practice for approximately 10 yrs. She was my primary mental health provider for the first several years. Eventually I moved to a different provider within the practice, but still continued to receive the same professional level of care. I also met my current therapist through Dr. Gupta's practice, and have been with her for the same 10 yrs. Dr. Gupta's staff are consistently professional, and very generous with their time and efforts. They have always been extremely helpful and ready to step it and assist with any VA disability claim issues. Thank you Dr. Gupta and staff.

Dr Gupta actually cares about her patients. It is unfair to review a doctor in the first place as sometimes not getting what you want ie, the prescription you want or getting the answer you want is going to affect someone’s review. There is no one else I know who has actually cared this much and tried to figure out the personal situation of someone and be interested in a humane level. She is not just a prescription writer- she looks at your problem and asks questions, connects with you, even adds supplements and cares about your whole health all while taking insurance! Anyone is lucky to actually be able to see her! She has personally saved the lives of so many and has helped me and my family get through so many difficult issues. And her office and staff are a breath of fresh air! See if you can find someone better- you won’t! Thank you Dr Gupta!

This is the first time I've felt this way about Dr. Gupta and the staff. I've been a pt. for approx. 7-8 years. I was referred by my counselor. At first I saw Dr. Gupta until about three years ago she changed me to another one of her therapist, at first I wasn't happy then I got to know her. Dr. Gupta was extremely nice, patient, took time with me, I was a tearful mess. When I met her I was working then went on disability with limited income but have insurance. They require, I state REQUIRE PAYMENT UP FRONT after each visit so I have to schedule appts. according to how I can pay. They also charge $100.00 for missed appts. not cancelled in a 24 hour timeframe. We changed medical insurance effective Jan.2021 and Gupta was not on the plan so I pay out of pocket which is a little more than I can afford. But chose to stay with the practice.

The office is beautifully decorated. Staff is good but change often.

I saw the second therapist, got use to her, she left and now for the third time I'm seeing another therapist for approx. three months now. I saw her yesterday, I felt she wasn't happy because I'm not able to see her more often, she asked how I was doing, I started to tell her not good and proceeded. She stated I should be telling my counselor this, rusted me and said its 5:00 we need to talk about your meds. OK, she went over meds, wanted to add others that I've tried but didn't want to take again due to side affects, she stated with your WEIGHT and diabetes she can't get me other meds. (I stated I feel Im not making any changes in life, at 62 years old, Im tired), she seem to get frustrated, stated maybe I need to change therapist and counselors but I need to come more if I stayed with them, like every 2 week or more and stated she's not making anymore appts. Gave me referrals and said have a great day.

They have definitely upgraded/renovated the offices more and upstairs looks like a lounge/bar then an doctors office. I truly feel the money/pay is more important then the patient.

I was referred to Dr. Gupta so I was quite excited to see her, I went there for 6 months and now I'm done.. My first appointment went great, Dr. Gupta was attentive and really listened to what i had to say. It all went downhill after that. The next appointment I didnt even see her, she had me see someone else that didnt even read my file or notes from the previous visit. After that i had to specifically ask to see my Dr. every time, though they said they left notes in my file to do it.

At one point she pulled me off a medication instead of weaning me off, though this is common. I went through a crying streak for 2 to 3 weeks and when i told her at my next appointment, she said it was because she stopped the other meds, thought she assured me it wouldnt happen before, i specifically asked. She didnt seem very compassionate about it either.

Customer service is also horrible. Dr. Gupta doesnt answer my messages on their portal and most the time I call no one answers. I have had to call several times and leave messages for refills and appointments.

Finally, it takes 3 weeks plus to get an appointment with Dr. Gupta and if you miss an appointment they charge you $100. (due to high volume)

If you want a personal feel, this is not the place.

Hm. Was excited to think I found a Psych MD who also was a DO and would approach treatment holistically. I just called to get some information, and Cindy at the front desk obviously had better things to do than bring in a new client. I felt like she was in a rush to get back to her live-streaming show or melting bowl of ice cream. Very short (imagine someone nodding and saying "mmm hmm" after every word you said). She asked to send in the last 6 visits of current psychiatry notes and she would deliver those to Dr. Gupta who would then decide if the patient was a good fit. Hm, so they get to make that decision based on what some other doctor (who we are considering switching from) states, instead of finding out what we specifically are looking for. I think it would benefit them to maybe realize that we are trying to find a good fit first and foremost. I asked what she thought Dr. Gupta would have to offer (I mentioned that treatments were not mentioned on the vague website, and she said, "meds". Oh. Okay. A very disappointing experience. I am not going through the trouble to get confidential medical information to Cindy. I have no idea what she will do with it. Btw, the photos of the office look beautiful, glad you all spend your time and money maintaining that aspect.
