Doctor Leventhal has been my physician for over 30 years! he was kind , always thoughtful and the greatest doctor I have ever known. I hope his retirement is just as great as he was and I hope his golf game gets even better if that is possible. Miss you Doctor Leventhal!

25 years seeing Dr. Walter Leventhal ! There are 25 years of stories about the good this doctor has done for the family...all of us. Me, Hubby, three kids, their husbands and wives and the 5 local grands. Thank heaven for the man who also said YES to seeing my mother when she moved in with us 7 years ago. He is kind, to the point, listens, hears us and we love him. When hubby died, he was right there for us.

I first saw Dr. Leventhal 26 years ago when my 2yo twin boys were plagued with ear infections. Their pediatrician at the time would not consider tubes and blew off my concern regarding a hereditary hearing defect (behind in verbal skills and obviously had trouble hearing). Dr. Leventhal immediately referred them to an ENT, tubes were placed and once ears were clear both were found to have the hereditary degenerative bone disease, had significant hearing loss and received hearing aids. Many years later, my father was seeing a different physician (a well known town quack). His hgb was extremely low (I have forgotten the level). Quack gave him a vitamin K shot and sent us on our way. I took him straight to Dr. Leventhal who immediatley hospitalized him giving my father 4 units of blood. Dispite my father's multiple complicated health issues Dr. Leventhal kept my father alive for many years. July 2017, I was out of town and having issues. I went to an urgent care in NC and was told I had H-pilory and no meds given. I was not satisfied. Upon getting to my car I made an appointment with Dr. Leventhal and the next morning drove 5 hours ti see him. He sent me immediatley for a CT scan. He called me the next morning with the news I had cancer and referred me to Dr. Katsanis. Dr. Leventhal played a vital role in saving my life. Although I have moved to NC I still keep Dr. Leventhal as my GP (and Dr. K as onc.) and will until he retires, which he is not allowed to do. He is honest, direct and to the point (which I like, do not sugar coat things I don't have time for that). If he does not know an answer he will tell you so and try to find out. He has no qualms about referring you to a specialist. Several family members go to him, my now adult children still go to him.

Love Dr Leventhal!! My husband and I have been seeing him for 17 years!! Great Doctor and always listens to our concerns and really cares about his patients!

My wife and I both see Dr. Leventhal and he has been absolutely amazing. I like that he jokes around but is serious when he needs to be. He tells it like it is, but is gracious and kind while he is doing it. If I could give him 10 stars I would!

Saved my life, my appendix was in the stages of rupturing and he did pressure test and sent me to ER immediately. Been seeing him since I was about ten years old, in my 30's now. Thank you Dr. Leventhal for everything.

I have been seeing Dr. Leventhal for 35 years...my daughter and grandchildren also see him. He is excellent!!

I hold Dr. Leventhal, in high regard. I also enjoy our talks because their not only professional, their personal as well.

Very rude, no bedside manners, does not listen to his patients requests, and made wrong treatment for my condition as he was told what the ailment was from previous diagnoses.
