Famulari's Pizzeria: Oakbrook

For a birthday celebration we bought pizza from different places and taste tested. Famulari's WON! Hands down their pizza is heaven! We got the Chicago deep dish classic and everyone voted it THE BEST! The Best of Charleston list just came out and the other named winners on the list cannot compare with Famulari's.

Been wanting to try these guys for a while now! Finally did(because I moved in delivery range), and it was Awesome! I did Chicago style Meats and Cheese bread. Everything came piping hot! Melty cheeses, savory sauce, juicy meats quality dough, flavorful on-pie and dipping sauce. All around great! Came within ETA quoted. The young lady on the phone taking my order sounded a little blah; but it could’ve just been my overactive mind. I enjoyed it and think virtually any ‘za lover will too!

This place makes some of the greatest pizza I've ever had (quite an accomplishment)! Pizza seems reasonably priced and huge slices too. Highly recommend.

I seen a picture of deep dish pizza from here online. So I had to try it And i came here for lunch. The staff was very friendly. The Service was quick and the resturant was clean, small and cozy. I ordered the chi-town classic with extra cheese and added bacon. My food was delicious! My pizza was actually heavy from being so packed with delicious ingredients. I ordered mild wings they were more like baked seasoned wings but they were delicious too. I will revisit and recommend Famulari's to others.

Called in an order to go, the smell of the cooking ingredients in the pizzeria was a mouthwatering experience, the staff was a pleasure to talk with, our food still very warm at home, delicious in taste, thank you for being open on New Year's Day. Sincerely, Rob

A very good pizza in my opinion being born and raised in SC so I'm not a New Yorker. They have other food items as well and during the week have specials like a burger, fries, and 1 beer for less than $15. They also make their craft beer here on James Island.

The zeppoli's were delicious and warm, but could have been toasted just a little longer. We had the artichoke and chicken pizza and it was also delicious - crispy, warm, nice balance of ingredients

I love Famulari's. Great food, lovely people working here. The wait time is not long. We have made Famulari's a family favorite. We have never gotten a bad pizza, wrap , or even the chicken tenders are wonderful. Thank you for giving me such a wonderful experience. You can't find that kind of service now a days.

Awesome pizza! Nice amount of topping! Pizza did a good cheese stretch. Curb side pick up. They provided plates and utensils. We will have it again

First visit, very nice customer service. Food was subpar however. Had the pepperoni 🍕 slice. Not enough sauce and bland. Got a hamburger slice Togo.

Great products great service great price very helpful very friendly. Massive menu lots of options. I would strongly suggest you give them a try if you wanted some pizza. They even save what you ordered last time so you won't get lost if you call them and you forgot what you got last time

I knew that Famulari's had great pizza, but until the other evening, I did not know about their fabulous lasagna with meat sauce. Oh, my gracious. I ordered to carry out. It was enough for three people in one container. Plus, the order of lasagna comes with a large salad, and garlic bread. The meat sauce and cheese layered between those perfectly cooked noodles had the best flavor of any lasagna that I've had in years. The sauce had a deep, rich tomato flavor, that brought out the sweet side of the tomatoes. Somebody in this restaurant knows how to get their sauce just right. After all, that's the most important part of the lasagna in my book. Anxious to eat there again.

This is literally the best pizza I've ever had. The staff is always friendly, and they do whatever they can to make sure we're satisfied.

Pizza here is on-point, every time. Get the Chi-Town Classic. It's a BIG pizza, and takes a while to cook & deliver (45 min?), but it's probably the best deep-dish pizza you'll ever have and worth it.

The crust has that "just right" crunch-to-soft-inside ratio, and the sauce is chunky (not runny) giving the pizza a bit more substance than what you normally find elsewhere. These guys KNOW how to make it.

And don't forget to tip!

Excellent pizza and dessert! The Philly cheesesteak pizza was awesome and so was the chocolate cake and cheesecake.

Pizza and service were excellent. I'm picky about pizza, and am hesitant to try new spots, but this was delicious!

Best pizza ever! So are the salads, wings, and tiramisu! Highly recommend this restaurant!

In search of a local place and drove from Walterboro (in the area for a wedding...from NY). About 45 minute drive and worth it. Wasn't busy at the time so food was made quick. Wings were delicious. Mild sauce was outstanding. Thank you

Our first choice for pizza in Summerville. It's always on point! It's the best!

I am happy to say that the Famulari's we go to off of Old Trolley Rd in Summerville has not gone the way of many restaurants in the past couple of years. The Chef salad was super fresh, the White pizza was delicious and the Calzone top notch. No skimping here! Keep up the good work!
