Buddy Bear in the Smokies RV Campground

Had an extended stay here at the campground for over two weeks. Great campground if you're looking for peace and quite. Beautiful location with great lots and great river view! The bathrooms were clean and nice, and the hosts were so friendly! We will definitely be back here again!

Very clean RV site and sweet cottage. We used both for our family to camp near Dollywood together. Hospitable camp site hosts that are on the grounds 24/7 and answer phone calls right away. Loved the 2 private bath houses too. Hot showers, toilet, sink and dressing area. Nice layout nestled beside a stream and just behind a service station by the main highway. They are adding more cabins this year too. Those will have bathrooms. The cottages don’t. We had a nice stay! Plan to go back. They also have a swimming pool.

Love this place. Our first visit here. We can't wait to see all the new things that are coming. The Managers are working so hard to get everything ready for Spring. What a great job they are doing. They are so sweet and helpful. See you all this Spring. On a plus, our kids loved all the fun that was happening.

We stayed here in a one room cabin.
This campground is fairly close to dollywood and good restaurants. The separate Bathroom was very clean, private, heated (it was around 40 degrees outside) and close by. Site managers were very hospitable and accessible. We will stay here again. Also, had the best price.

I am not sure that my words can give the credit that this campground deserves, but I will do my best.
1. The location on Dolly Parton leaves you with access to so many attractions that the area offers. Along with a 24hr gas station right up the hill.
2. The service and people. WOW! From the moment we arrived, we were greater with smiles and so much personality!
3. The sites. All the sites are clean, organized, and well-maintained. Made hooking up and pulling out a breeze.
4. The bath-houses. Ok, when you live in a camper, you know how important a shower can be, and let me tell you; "These were the first and ONLY facilities that I used and felt comfortable not using shower shoes!". The bathrooms/showers are private, large, and CLEAN! Thank you for that!
5. You have a river in your backyard, with the wildlife that comes with it.

I could go on and on, but I HIGHLY recommend giving this place a try. I watched them constantly trying to make improvements and upgrades, and honestly, you could ask for a better group of people. I like to express our thanks to Buddy Bear for the exceptional stay we had at this RV campground. We arrived early and no one was in our site so they let us check in. Our lot, #8 backed up to the river. Very pretty and clean. The campground is close to the main road but it was quiet all night long. There is a coded gate at the front and we felt very safe and secure, the area it is in is nice too. The grounds were clean cut to include a pool, wash room, gathering area with a bandstand. It is a smaller campground and just perfect for us. The surrounding area included many places to eat and shop. Close to everything. We have a 27ft Class A Vegas and we fit just fine. The lot was flat and paved, no need for blocks. Picnic table, fire pit. There were a lot of larger RV's there. Oh, they also have cabins. Thanks again Buddy Bear. Hope to be back soon.

Didn't use the cabins. Site was clean though grass was pretty long. The paved sites are nice. Cable TV did not work. We only really got the channel 10 set of stations over the air. No attendants on duty which was ok since there was no problems. Still a nice place to camp overall. Been going here for several years.

We enjoyed our week here. Very clean and neat. The Managers are the best. So friendly and helpful. Our children loved all the activities. Thanks for having the laundry room open. We will be back.

I really cannot find a thing to mention that was wrong. The sites were clean, paved, and accessible. The bathrooms, wow! The river runs right behind the sites. The on-site managers were friendly, on-point, personable, and did everything they could to ensure a great stay. The location is right between everything/attractions, not to mention a 24hr station right up the hill.

Campground was very clean and well maintained. Everything was nice and of good quality. However it’s very small and right off the main drag. Not much privacy as accommodations are very close to each other. Room for one vehicle each. It’s a good place to stay if you are wanting to be close to attractions. However if you are wanting to camp in nature, this is not that. There was a river behind the campground but it did not really have access to it. I would recommend and stay there again. There was no staff on site during the times we were there.

My kids and I had a blast! They played with other children. All the staff were helpful and respectful! We went fishing as well and it was very fun and relaxing!! My kids can’t wait to go back! Thank you all for the amazing time! We will definitely be back!

Thank you for an outstanding stay!!! Super clean and very peaceful RV park. Close to everything in Sevierville and surrounding areas. We got into town a little early, they let us in our site with no problems. Site 14 is totally amazing if you can book it you will not be let down. Thanks again. We will be back.

We enjoyed the location and the size of the campground. It felt more safer to me having children on this vacation. Everyone was so nice. We’re planning another trip in the summer.

Camping in my camper so could not say anything about the cabins here. The campground is quiet and clean. I have camped here a few times and it has been good, however this time I arrived and was moved to a different site. When asked it was started that he did not want to put a 21 for trailer when he could rent it out to a 30 footer. I made the reservation 6 months ago and paid the full price of the drive through site. No one stayed in it for the first two nights so by the time I got money refunded and no one in the store for two days I don't think he made more money. We're were moved to probably the worst spot could not even park or car had to park diagonally an partly in the road. They had music playing all night so did not get restful sleep.

This is the first time camping here at Buddy Bears and I like it so much that I have made reservations for 8/9/24. It is a small campground and very secure. It is easy to get to all the places you want to see in Pigeon Forge using the back roads to get around. The campground is also very quiet and clean.

We had a good time here. Sitting by the campfire is the best. Friendly people running it now. We will be back in the spring. Close to Dollywood for the kids also.

A small campground which is perfect for us. Nicely decorated with full hookups. Absolutely love that it was gated and codes are required to enter facilities. We didn't see staff but that wasn't an issue for us. Also oddly enough, there is no camp host. But there were no issues so also fine. Very peaceful. There wasn't golf carts speeding every where and no parties. I understand some may enjoy this type of camping which is ok however it's not for us so we were extremely happy to find it absent. Anytime we travel there with the camper, we will be there.

Buddy Bear in the Smokies is a great rv park. They have all the amenities you need for a wonderful stay. The bath houses are always clean, the pool is a nice oasis during a hot day, and the park itself is just the right size. The location is a bit different, being that it is right off the highway, but you really hardly notice that. For the value, Buddy Bear is a top place to stay!

Such a great small campground, very near all the action of Pigeon Forge. We are letting the secret out about this little perfect find. The sites are small, but very pretty.

Have stayed there 3 times this year. Each time has been great. We live 4 miles away. Its a Great Stay-Cation. Quiet, clean and Safe. We love it.
