Great authentic Mexican food at affordable prices. You can tell that the tortillas are hand made. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious till the last. Salsa picante selection has something for everyone to enjoy. Great place for a breakfast on the go. We ordered to go. The location is in a quiet spot. A bit of a hidden spot for this gem of a place. The workers will recognize regulars.

Cute delicious little place. The only problem we had was ordering, the server did not speak English very well. If someone in our party had not spoken Spanish we would had been in trouble. The food was very good though.

This local Mexican food restaurant serves authentic TexMex. Superb enchiladas-that is how I gauge if I want to return!

One of my Favorite places to eat in Kirby. They definitely have great food and great prices and it's super clean and very festive. I am really happy to have this place in Kirby and I'm always happy to eat here...

Huevos Rancheros plus carne guisada plate plus a drink $10plus but it was so yum the beans had that Bacon grease taste mmmm an the cg was soft an not to many harsh spices, just right. Salsa on the eggs was great as well not to spicy more flavorful. Staff was nice an restaurant was clean as well as the restrooms. There was hand sany when you walk in an social distancing. Don't forget your face mask. I'll be back, so good.

The food was extra savory today. The service is a little short from perfect when you go, but your food will always come out perfect. My family has never had a complaint. It's nice and quiet and spacious with the TV always on.

We had picadillo tacos which were very good according to my wife . She stated great flavor. I had carne guisada with cheese and bean and chorizo . Both were delicious . Staff greeted us immediately and made sure we had everything we needed. Great customer service and food . It’s one of our go to places now . here in Kirby .

The food is great; the orders don’t have a long wait, the staff is warm and friendly, based on location it’s not super crowded during the times that I stopped by to dine in.

I love food! I love Mexican food! I love Mexican restaurants! La Cocina Mexicana definitely ranks as one of my top favorite restaurants. The food tastes so homemade and the portions are generous. Selmi is awesome and always offers great service. I am so lucky to live a few blocks from it. Only downside is their business hours. Wish they would remain open longer or at least until the time posted.

Honestly been here twice and is very good Breakfast tacos like just freaking good the bean and cheese carne guisada bomb 🤞🏼

A cozy resterant in the corner in Kirby tx. Their food is so delicious I loved their amazing tortillas like homade and fresh I also loved the breakfast plate huevos Ranchero with beans and patatoes .Perfect! Waitress always kind and offer coffee and whatever you need my mother love this place and so do I. Lots of parking and very quiet comfortable place.

Good food, not my favorite place for enchiladas, but the food is fresh and the service is great.
Corn tortillas are hand made and delicious.
Prices are fair. About average.
I need to go again and try breakfast.

The tacos were good and had good flavor especially my chicaronne and eggs!!

Service was nice and fast clean restaurant very nice place she said if you want to stay also does take out and serves quick offers up a good lunch special and very nice servers I believe my server's name was Jazz she was a very nice server.

Pleasantly surprised. Everything was delicious even had homemade flour tortillas. I don’t know as driving through and google Mexican food. So happy I tried!
