Great Salon for all hair braiding needs!! I highly recommend.Great company and great environment. I had box braids done on Feb.22,2023 and it took 7 hours. Although Ms. Virginia had help, my braids came out beautiful. My only thing was that I was told $210 on the phone for hair included with style and ended up paying $235 which was not in my price range. But again my braids are beautiful. Thanks Virginia.!

I really enjoyed my experience with Virgo Hair Braiding! I was able to make an appointment with ease. I will suggest making your appointment at least two days in advance because they do get really busy, however, if you are getting something simple they do take walk ins. Virginie was so sweet and did an amazing job on my hair. She walked me through the entire process and let me know what to expect with my choice of style (Medium, waist length box braids). She made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire time. I've already received so many compliments on my hair, I love it! I will definitely be back.

I will be coming back for all my braiding needs. The staff is very nice and respectful always using manners so far as saying yes/no sir/ma'am. Atmosphere was very calm/soothing. The lady braiding my hair was very patient, I have lots of hair and took the challenge. She didn't take any breaks besides a sip of water here and there. I didn't take any breaks. Enjoyed listening to their native tongue, it was very calm not harsh or loud at all. She didn't have heavy hands and my head felt no pain not one time while she braided my hair. I called and was able to get an appointment for the same day. I was greeted by the owner who did a beautiful job on my hair. I got medium sized Senegalese twists. They are beautiful! I will be back.

Always a pleasant experience. Some visits take longer than others like when they start your head and then start someone else's so you're sitting there waiting. But for the most part, I have no complaints. I always schedule my hair appointments here

Nice service I would recommend these salon. It did take a little long but the time was worth it my braids are amazingly beautiful also I was a walk in on a Sunday and the lady’s stayed there until they finished my braids. Beautiful job thank you 🙂

I had my first visit here today and Mrs. Virginie is phenomenal along with her staff Mrs. Sylvia they are very genuine nice people. I got some cornrows done it was quick and she doesn't braid tight and she's affordable. I love the style! I'll definitely be returning and sending some of my friends her way! Thank you 😊

They were faster than what I'm used to. Usually I ask for box braids that come to my shoulder blades. I'm used to them being done in 6-8 hours. It took 4-1/2 hours here between 2 women,. Which was great. The only thing I didn't like was they originally quoted me $150 to do my braids, but then when she saw my hair she changed it to $170 because of the length. I don't like when the price is changed after you agreed on the original price, especially when you have to withdraw the money (they were cash only when I was there). Still it was quick, so I can't hold it against them. The braids are well done so it was worth the extra money. I would still recommend them.

I called ahead to set up an appt. They were very accommodating and easy to talk to. I have a lot of hair and wanted a Ghana braid style and got exactly what I wanted! It took about 2.5 hrs total. My braids look so good and not too tight. I didn’t catch her name but she was so patient and didn’t rush through the process at all. She took her time and didn’t cause any unnecessary damage to my hair. I definitely will recommend and will be back. They are definitely worth a visit.

This was my first time meeting the women of Virgo Hair Braiding and the experience was wonderful. They made me fill welcomed from the minute I walked in the door. I came in with a style on my mind but after seeing all the photos of the work that was done I quickly changed my style. It was a great experience. I look flawless and feel great. Oh yes the price is the best I've found in San Antonio.

Called after closing time yesterday and surprisingly someone answered!!!! Very friendly lady. We booked my appointment there on the spot!!! Once I arrived the professionalism and honesty just kept coming. I say honesty because I wanted a particular style but my hair waa way too short and the beautician explained that to me. The whole experience was one I never had in a hair establishment. I enjoyed my self, I relaxed and the beautician were extremely friendly. Overall experience was a 10 out of 10. And yes I absolutely loved my hair!!!

This Hair salon is the best I've come to the staff are generous they gave out refreshments my hair turned out beautiful, no hair sticking out of braids my edges we're laid ... Their was no wait time and the price was worth it. Thanks again i recommend this salon very knowledgeable on products to use on my damaged hair. The best part was my hair wasn't braided too tight. I feel Fabulous

I had a good experience. The braiders were gentle and polite. Other shops are rude and very rough. Virgo is quite the opposite. The prices are reasonable too. They seem very concerned about your comfort level and get your hair done in a reasonable time. I love the results and plan to be a repeat customer.

They finished my box braids in 4 hours and they provided the hair too.!!!

Both times I’ve been here , super easy to book and I always wait til the last minute. I don’t know how many compliments I got on my braids. Love how I get an honest opinion on style and color. Comfortable environment . My go to spot 🥰

I went in about 3 weeks ago and got my starter locs done.
I like the fact she is heavy handed. Felt awesome.any way I will be going in to get them retwisted,wash,and I can't wait I am loving my new loc journey. Thank you. See Y'all soon

I came here last minute and Virginia did my hair. She did absolutely amazing! She was super quick and did not pull too hard. My hair looks beautiful! I’m so sad I don’t live in San Antonio or else I’d come all the time. Highly reccomend!

They are very caring. And she is super fast and neat. My mom had her hair braided, my daughter got her hair braided and now I'm getting mines...very nice salon and are very professional. She 20+years experienced!! Thank you for the hospitality.
