Conroy's Irish Pub

We went here during lunch and there was no one here, so at first I was skeptical. However, my wife got the fish and chips, and I ordered the Sheppard's Pie. The fish and chips were really tasty and even fried, the fish was tender and flaky. The Sheppard's Pie was absolutely the best I've ever had, it was amazing. This is a must eat at and you have to get the Sheppard's Pie.

So... I'm from MA where there are Irish pubs / restaurants everywhere. I saw Conroy's and I figured, WTH, let's try it. Did not have high hopes for an Irish pub in San Antonio. WOW was I wrong. The drinks were AWESOME, finally a bar that makes drinks you could actually taste! The owner came to the table ad shot the bull with us for a few minutes. The onion rings were the best I have ever had, they were thick! They have awesome specials every day too! We tried the Sheppard's Pie and the Meatloaf, seriously the best I have had since I moved here 24 years ago! We will without a doubt come back. I also asked for a side of Mac and Cheese with my meal on the side, they forgot about it, but I was not worried since I was SO full. To our surprise, when the check was brought, an enormous bowl was given to us and we were not charged for it. Not only are the food and drinks awesome, the customer service is top notch!

Loved this place, the atmosphere was amazing and it was the only place open late enough for us to swing by and grab some drinks. Open til’ 2 AM! Kiley was our bartender, and she was amazing, so sweet and very entertaining to talk to, and this is coming from a woman! She made sure everyone was having a good time, and her drinks were amazing. I order a screwdriver everywhere I go, and this is the best I’ve had out of the hundreds of places I’ve had one. Very cheap prices too, good drinks won’t be hurting the bank here. Too bad we’re from out of state, or this would be our go-to bar and dinner spot for a late night. 11/10, next time I’m in Texas, this is our first stop!! ❤

This past Sunday I decided to stop by and try Conroy’s Pub. I am so glad that I did! Sunday I came in the evening and I had a Tall DosXX and their Philly cheesesteak sandwich. So good!

Today I stopped by and had lunch and I tried their Cheeseburger, 1/2 lb of tasty perfection!!
And of course the cold DosXX never disappoints!!
The atmosphere is very casual and relaxed everyone is very friendly and the staff is very attentive and friendly as well!!

My new spot for that chill and have a cold drink and some good food for sure!

This is a quaint, safe establishment with a diverse, mature adult population. It is a hidden gem with tons of potential. Great beer, hard alcohol, and food choices. More solid live musical talent would make this spot more popular.

Open 19 hours a day, 7am till 2am!! They offer live music, pool table, dart boards and 2 golden tee games. Great food and service. A definite stop for any occasion.

Great service! Enjoyed the shrimp jalapeño cheese grits. Definitely not Cajun style but oh so delicious.

This is not your average pub. It is a wonderful local bar with some pretty incredible food and deserts. Contains a sizeable bar, pool table, stage, and some outdoor seating. If you are in the Boerne area and looking for a casual place for a good drink and a great meal, you owe yourself a visit, or two, or three; to Conroy's!

Service is phenomenal! Food is 5 star restaurant quality with casual dining prices, plus where else do you know does happy hour all day? I've been to both locations (fair oaks & stone oak) and have never received anything less than perfection. If you're going to try anything from them, go with either the wings or their bambino huey (probably the most delicious dessert ever made, picture included). Honestly whether you're looking to support a local business or just want some damn good food, this place should be at the top of your list.

Um....what?? I'm visiting my parents for the weekend and didn't want to drive far for food. I called to place a To-Go order and asked the guy what he'd recommend. He said I'd be surprised to find out they make most things from scratch and that the Orange Chicken is actually really good. Orange chicken? From an Irish Pub? In the country? (Yes Fair Oaks feels country to me 😄) the guy also proceed to give me more info and suggestions. Great service.

Long story short: I got the ORANGE CHICKEN and it was DELICIOUS. Even the fried rice was great and tasted better than budget Chinese food places!! You can tell from the picture this is NOT frozen chicken from a bag.

We love this local spot. Favorite place to stop and have a drink or watch a football game. Bar tenders are always very nice and can manage the bar well. The food is very good too. It’s not bar food, it’s better! There hasn’t been a meal we haven’t liked. Overall great vibe, great music, and nice locals.

Discovered this place with some friends one night. Great staff, great food with their own twists on popular recipes, even Asian cuisine! Scenery is nice, bartender definitely was on top of the drinks. Perfect ratios from the consumer stand point. Definitely felt like I got my money's worth maybe even more. Will definitely be visiting again.

Music and ambiance were great after a phenomenal car club cruise! The 16 of us will be back.

Just had the wings tonight and they were delicious. We got a sampling of their sauces also. Yummy.

to find an authentic locomoco ..in Texas... that makes this place incredible. good atmosphere ...clean and the food is delicious!

Incredible food, very flavorful and done right. Had the full rack of BBQ ribs, plenty to eat, and fall off the bone tender meat. Was a little disappointed in the small baked potato, but over all fantastic. The corn beef and cabbage was an enormous serving, very pleased with taste and texture. Service was a little to be desired, but effective. I'd give it an "A" rating. Clean restaurant, well maintained by the staff.

Went to have a drink with a girl I met. The girl didn't work out but the place was great. The bartender was fantastic. Melissa or Alyssa, music was playing so I didn't hear for sure. Yall should stop in and see her. Conroys is a fantastic semi- dive bar with good food and awesome people, except the broad I left behind, she was insufferable. 5 stars all the way. Try the nachos.........
