The parrot themed decor is charming and fun! Pericos tends to play upbeat music, and there's usually a birthday being celebrated somewhere in the restaurant.

Great for groups.

I tend to get the mini-tacos; but there's a ton of variety on the menu.

This place was great. Best salsa in town, literally. (Voted #1). Queso flameado was great! My guest had a beef fajitas taco salad she loved. Our service was TOP NOTCH. Nothing negative to say.

Brought my son for his 21st birthday, and it was wonderful. The staff sang for him and he had a wonderful time. Food was good, we didn't wait long and the server was great. Considering our party of 15 he got all orders correct and we didn't have to flag him done, he was attentive and didn't forget about us. Would gladly go back for any other big get togethers.

Thank you so much for staying open for us! We arrived with a huge party of 18 after a visitation of our friend who had passed. Our friend loved Pericos! It was her favorite restaurant & we celebrated her life this evening enjoying the same drinks she would always get and some even had the same
food! This night meant a lot to us & we appreciate the staff at Pericos!!

This amazing place is one of the best Mexican restaurants in all of San Antonio. The food was perfect, and the atmosphere was super warm. The manager (Ivan, aka boss man) accommodated us like no other.

When you’re thinking of having a perfect meal, remember this restaurant’s name... Pericos. Excellent services, they maintain cleanliness and take care of your every need.

I didn't get the waitress name... She was absolutely incredibly fabulous.

We had so much fun eating out tonight! Our waiter Christian F. gave us great service and checked out us out quickly since it was late. The food was yummy and even my picky eater tried something new. The music was just at a the perfect level to still have conversation. Wonderful!!

Came in during spring break, very relaxed atmosphere and quick service. Restrooms were clean which is a must for me. I had the chamoy mango margarita, absolutely delicious! My enchilada’s sauce was the best I’ve had, usually tastes like it’s from a can and gives me heartburn. My husband had the mole enchiladas which he said were made perfectly sweet and beans were on point. My daughter had the enchiladas and loved the red tortilla but more especially the rice.

Visited from NJ and our son recommended this place. All of our food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. We had a very enjoyable meal and will visit again the next time we're in San Antonio.

Great northwest Mexican food restaurant. Had the beef carnitas plate which are actually beef fajitas cut into cubes ( love fajitas!). Wife had the enchilada plate which are good as well. Happy hour includes their ”parrotails margaritas either frozen or on the rocks. Highly recommend Pericos. Oh, their salsas and chips are great as well.

Great food and drinks and the service was great Destiny and Kayley were great! Also this is our 2nd time there this month drove 45 min just because the food was so yummy! Also the manager came over to ck in great service everywhere

We are a group of 15 families visiting San Antonio for a youth soccer tournament and we had our team dinner at Pericos. Everything was wonderful! Serving a group of 50 adults and kids with separate checks is no easy task, but the staff did an amazing job. Everyone loved their food and drinks and the service was excellent. Special thanks to Catie, Abel and our servers from HTX Houston Central!

Perico's is one of my favorite restaurants in San Antonio, both for lunch, and especially for dinner, when the mariachi entertainment provides the effect backdrop.
It was by design that I decided to have an important business meeting with recording superstars TISH HINOJOSA and SHELLY LARES at Perico's. The food was sensational, with the soups and fajita plates cooked to perfection, tasting as close to homemade as possible.
The lunch atmosphere was light and quiet, perfect for the music meeting.
The service was prompt, friendly, and professional. We will most definitely return again to this wonderful restaurant. Highly recommend.

Always the best rancheras overhead and there are multiple jewels on the menu. The poll asado is great, but the enchiladas and carnitas too!! We were served by Jamin tonight and he was great! We'll be back soon!

We have been coming here since they first opened and before Google maps 😆! Always a wonderful time, be it for lunch or dinner! Well no need in reviewing older times we've spent here so, let's do ours for today! As we are welcomed for dinner the young man (host in front from Arkansas and the young lady next to him) were so welcoming as our party was not complete to be sat down. Once seated, one table server (Andrew) was not only attending to us but another larger party at the time immediately informed us that he would be right with us! Long story short, we ordered drinks, appetizers and food. All things were delivered with much communication on how long we'd wait for each item! We left after closing because we were still eating and drinking, NO RUSH, weird looks or any uncomfortable feeling from staff that was working at all! This was such an incredible experience from a restaurant in which we've in the past have had nothing but amazing service and food before! Thanks again and see you again soon!

I hadn't been to one of these in a little while since they closed the one down near our side of town, however we were on this side of town visiting friends so we decided to hit it up again. We weren't disappointed I had the Pollo Asado with the street corn and it was delicious as I remember. My only complaint is the bar is lacking a few Libations that I consider standards to even a restaurant bar. I was able to muddle through though and it was a non-issue. Overall the food was excellent the service was top-notch and the atmosphere was great. Highly recommended. As a side note they have a great and happy hour with half price Street Tacos which are amazing and can make a meal all by themselves! Give it a try.

Beautiful patio, gorgeous spring afternoon, happy hour prices on drinks and appetizers all evening. I was with a group and we were all well taken care off.

Savanna was awesome! We were a party of 35 plus and she did great! It was a fun time with family. They were visiting and we loved the reunion! ♥🎉

Pericos is a must have!! Every time we come the food, environment, and service is nothing short but amazing. Andrew particularly is what makes Pericos so great! He is attentive and personable! He makes coming to Pericos a joy.
We look forward to retuning many times to come!!!
