We got the enmoladas and the tasajo memelitas and they were both delicious!

Food is great! My wife is from Oaxaca and she loves this place. Only thing I could say needs improving is the staff. These guys always have full tables and you might have to be patient but in my opinion it is well worth it for the taste!

This place is a MUST go if you like or are looking for authentic Oaxacan food. Beware of the owner tho lol he can sell you anything next thing you know you've walked out with alot on your hands hahaha. The food is delicious the service outstanding. They now offer buffet style dinning I don't recall the times so they have that and the items on that are certain ones but still same great taste. They have grasshoppers which are hard to find they ran out when I went ironically I had taken the last bit they had a few days before. They also sell t-shirts & bags brought from Oaxaca.

This place looks like they just moved here. Turns out that's because they did! The menu is literally a laminated photo of their old menu board, and they're out of random things like tea, but they're otherwise prepared to cook and serve. I had a tlayuda with tasajo and fajita. With a Fanta orange soda (Mexican bottled), my total came to $23.27 which might sound expensive, but it was a huge amount of fresh, high quality food. I could only eat 2/3 for brunch, then the leftovers for dinner, so it fed me for the entire day. Overall, I think it was a very reasonable value. This was my first experience with Oaxacan food, and I was impressed. Pace of service was relaxed, not rushed, but very friendly. I will definitely be back soon to try something else.

I have driven past this place many times as it down the street from our house but I never really noticed it until recently. Bf and I are major foodies, and we take our dining experiences pretty seriously so we decided to take a chance on this dive. We were not disappointed. I meant to take a picture of my food but I opened the box with my memelita in it and inhaled it under 5 min. He ordered a burro with tasajo and he was in love. The salsa verde that came with it was perfectly spicy and subtle. They had a fresh juice that the owner let us try that was incredible. Flavor profiles here are on point. The owner was very affable and talked to us as if we were part of his family. His amicable attitude and that of the staff was a plus on top of the quality of the food. Don't even negotiate with yourself about whether to try this or not. Just go. I'm vegetarian and I was still was able to find something to eat and enjoy. This place is for anybody that enjoys fantastic Mexican food that meets true authenticity.

This place is always amazing. My wife and I get tacos here once every week or two and their other stuff is just as good. The owner is extremely kind and always introduces me to new delicious menu items. It is easily my favorite restraunt in the area.

Super authentic Mexican food! The giant Mexican tostada was the size of a medium pizza and is filled with wonderful toppings!

Also the tacos I got were filled with trasajo meat, which is basically beef steak, and that was amazing! Awesome people and nice drink selection with opportunity to order ice cream at the end! Place did good job!

Texas only had tex mex with this restaurant you can get a feel for what Oaxaqueña food is really about. The flavors were similar to what my mother in law makes. Great food! Went with my husband to eat here Saturday night and we had champurrado and tlayuda with tesajo and added chapulines ( a Mexican delicacy) Next time we will try the tamales!

OMGGGGGGGGGGGG amazing food! So tasty! I love the tlayuda and my sister got the quesadilla which was super good too! It’s super authentic here and will definitely be coming back!!

The food was so authentic I recommend it 100%! The food was very delicious. What I especially liked was the variety of flavors of both ice cream and flavored drinks!!!

It's a very nice place to eat with your family. It has a pretty good selection of food and treats. You can go there with your whole family and satisfy everyone.
