A.Cherie Couture | Custom Wedding Dresses and Alterations

A Cherie was wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend them for a custom dress. Ashley was able to perfectly capture my vision for the dress on the first sketch and Karen made that sketch a reality even better than I could imagine. Karen did a great job with the beading and alterations (only needed because I lost a good bit of weight after the initial measurements). The bustle was also the best I've ever seen. The points were incorporated into the flowers of the lace so it hid nicely, but when bustled all the lace on the train was on display in beautiful (and secure) folds. Karen made sure to teach my MOH how to bustle it properly and even videoed it so we could recreate it on the big day. Ashley and Karen were so kind throughout the whole process and I couldn't imagine a better product.

Karen did absolutely amazing transforming my dress into the dress of my dreams!!! So easy to work with, extremely kind, very thorough, and overall did an absolutely stunning job. The dress came out better than I could have imagined and I’m so so happy I went with A.Cherie for my alterations 🤍

THE BEST DECISION! I had a very poor wedding dress shopping experience and was very worried about dress alterations and additional customizations. I miraculously learned about A. Cherie Couture through a comment on a wedding Facebook group and had a wonderful overall experience. From the first online consultation to my first appointment to the final send off, I felt very comforted by their professionalism! The team is very knowledgeable and patient; they welcomed all questions, explained things thoroughly and did a great job with my dress! My in-person appointments were with Karen, and she was so kind and skilled! I only wish I had found them sooner so that they could’ve made me a custom gown. I 100% recommend this team to any bride. Also, I had to drive in from out of town for my appointments, and it was worth every mile.

The A.Cherie team was a dream to work with! I was a little nervous having my dress made so far away and without meeting with them in person, being that I live in Alaska. But my dress couldn’t have turned out more perfect. When I went for my final fitting and finally saw my dress it was everything that I had wanted and more! They worked in every detail that I wanted the dress to have! I highly recommend working with the A.Cherie team even if you aren’t in the Texas area. They make the process so easy. I was in constant contact with Ashley during the process which made it super stress-free. I Would definitely work with them again!

If there is one thing about my wedding I absolutely do NOT regret, it’s having a custom-made wedding gown! I knew when I got engaged that I’d be pretty particular about the dress I got. I wanted something unique to me that couldn’t be found at just any bridal salon in SA. So I explored the option of going custom and found A. Cherie Couture in Boerne, Tx. I think my biggest concern initially, was definitely going to be price, but I was pleasantly surprised when miss Ashley was able to be considerate of my budget while ensuring I get all components of my dream dress! The entire process was seamless, from the first consultation, and every fitting that followed. I was never once concerned about whether or not I was getting my money’s worth because I was part of the entire process from around February-August 2022 (my wedding was Sep.9), receiving updates on the dress along the way! I loved miss Ashley and her seamstress, they were super kind and made me feel like royalty every visit and especially, of course, my wedding day! I think the individual attention as a frantic bride really made the experience for me! It took a weight off my shoulders knowing the dress I was going to have would be beyond special! Every detail was to my specifications and again, I was able to get a beautiful gown that nobody else has, and paying around the same price you would at a regular bridal salon for a gown that still more than likely will need alterations, another expense. There aren't enough words to express my gratitude for Ashley and Karen! The ultimate trustworthy and talented team. They are committed to making every dress so unbelieveably special for each of their brides. I was so indecisive, yet extremely particular about my dress, and Ashley was SO patient, knowledgeable and determined to make my vision come to life. My wedding dress and veil were an absolute dream. Just when I thought my experience couldn't get any better, Ashley and Karen took on the last minute task of creating a stunning suit for my rehearsal dinner. These woman are amazing!!!!

I absolutely loved every part of creating my dress. Ashley asked all the right questions, had so many great ideas, allowed my niece who is in fashion design school be part of the process, and was so incredibly detailed in every moment of the process. My dress is stunning and I felt exactly the way I wanted to on my wedding day. It was absolutely perfect!

My experience was A.Cherie was phenomenal from start to finish! I was referred to these lovely ladies off a bridal FB page and all it took was an initial inquiry via email and BOOM Ashely was on top of it! she responded promptly and was so friendly, her personality really shines through. My alternations were done by Karen who was equally amazing! I thoroughly enjoyed my fittings with her, she is so fun & bubbly. I love how passionate Karen is about her work. At my final fitting I was absolutely stunned, my dress hugged my body perfectly and Karen gave me a shape! I don't how she does it so seamlessly. I also brought in my children to have their JR Bridesmaid dresses' hemmed and they were ecstatic! they loved the attention they received and felt like princesses during their fitting. Written by my wife, Aidan, about her custom veil: Oh my GOD. Ashley and her team absolutely CRUSHED my custom veil. It was honestly the star of the show- which is exactly what I wanted! I had a tall order...I was going for a "vintage glam" vibe that went with my dress, had lace and beading, and was cathedral length. Not only did she accomplish everything I was looking for, she exceeded my expectations. I can't tell you how many people told me it was the most insanely beautiful veil they had ever seen. So much talent, skill, and craftsmanship went into making this. There really aren't words to describe how breathtaking this veil was so I have included photos!

Ashley and her team are amazing!! They are hands down the best at what they do. Just when I had taken my wedding dress to another alteration shop and had ruined my dress just 3 weeks before my wedding. They came to the rescue my dress came out perfect along with my veil that I had ordered from her. Look no more guys they are truly awesome.

Ashley and Karen are a dream to work with. I did not have a custom made dress but they altered a dress I bought (Grace loves lace) and they did an excellent job of making this dress fit the way it was supposed to look. It was gorgeous. I couldn’t be happier! I would HIGHLY recommend this team for a custom made dress or alterations of any gown!

I had a stressful time planning my wedding and didn’t really have time to enjoy my dress shopping. A.Cherie helped make the dress I had chosen to be the dress close to my dreams lol I should’ve gone to them to have a dress specially made for me in the beginning!! It probably would’ve saved me a lot of stress and money! They adjusted my veil to match the length of dress and created the sleeve I wanted! They’re my go-to for dress alterations! I found A.Cherie Couture on The Knot after searching for designers in Texas who could create a custom wedding dress for me. After seeing pictures of Ashley's work online, I immediately knew that I wanted to work with her to create my dream wedding dress. From start to finish, Ashley made the process so easy and so fun. I went back and forth a lot on the design for my dress, but Ashley had amazing suggestions and ideas that helped me decide on what I wanted. From drawing a sketch of the dress, to creating a digital rendering of it, picking out fabrics and colors, and even making big adjustments to the design quite late in the game, Ashley was incredible to work with. She was extremely flexible in booking appointments for fittings, and worked around my schedule. The dress Ashley made for me was beyond anything I could have ever dreamed of. She knew exactly what I wanted, and executed perfectly. I felt like a princess in my dress! I cannot recommend A.Cherie Couture enough to anyone looking to have a custom dress for their big day. Both Ashley and Karen were to amazing to work with, and I can't wait to work with them again in the future for any more custom creations! Thank you for everything, Ashley!!

During this pandemic I was so sad my big day had to change so dramatically. Fortunately, I was still able to wear my gown for a virtual wedding. It made me feel like a queen and gold sequins and all, it was a sight to behold even on zoom.

A. Cherie designed the most incredible dress for my wedding day. I had a particular vision and Ashley helped me to bring it to life. She walked me through every step of the process despite being across the country. We exchanged phone calls, emails, pictures, samples, and videos to ensure that it was exactly the way I wanted. I had a local seamstress take my measurements and was pleasantly surprised to see how well the mock dress fit me when it came in. It is a long process and took over a year due to her long list of clients, but it was worth the wait. I had some minor alterations to the straps after receiving the dress, which was a last minute decision. My seamstress could not believe how well made the dress was. She even took Ashley's card to refer clients for custom gowns. I received so many compliments and most importantly, it was everything I dreamed it would be and more. Thank you A. Cherie!

Ashely of A Cherie Couture makes the most incredible wedding dresses I have ever seen in my life or career as a wedding photographer. She is a brilliant, kind, and talented artist! I highly recommend her to any bride to be! She can make anything, and the process from drawing to real life wedding gowns is mind blowing. I can not believe she hand beads each custom piece, honestly the most elaborate and elegant designs ever!

Karen I’d absolutely amazing. I had weight loss surgery and my dress had to come in 1-3 sizes and she had made it to perfection. Super helpful telling me what was required and what I could avoid to save money. I have never had such a great experience, they also worked with on cost so I could get everything I needed done while still protecting themselves. If you want a great fair priced alterations on your dress or any custom dress this is the place to go! I’m not adding photos of my dress yet because my wedding hasn’t happened yet however I will post pictures after! I’m still in shock at what she accomplished in only 1 week!!!!!
