VIVA Pediatrics PA

My wife and I have raised 4 kids and had several pediatricians. VIVA Pediatrics in Boerne, TX has been the best experience by far. The front office, back office and the superior quality of medical care is second to none. The way Dr. Cuellar treats the problems and explains the issues to kids and parents is very hard to find. We are never left waiting for appointments or sitting in the lobby. I would recommend VIVA to anyone looking for quality and competency. It is the ONLY place we will take our kids for care.

Dr. Zamora and the staff are a breathe of fresh air when it comes to doctor office experiences. They are up to date on current medical information, science based, have a wonderful attitude, are compassionate and caring. We feel lucky to have the Viva Pediatrics practice so close to us for our daughter.

Dr Cuéllar and his team are always great with the kids and very friendly. Never fun having to go to the doctors however they make it as fun as possible, while providing great care

Viva Pediatrics is simply the best!!!
Dr Rick is knowledgeable, patient, and remarkably up to date with newest informations.
All staff are amazingly welcoming and nice.
The environment is pleasant and kid friendly. One of my main concerns was to walk in to a crowded and packed waiting room especially during COVID, but this wont be an issue with this practice. Although they are busy but They manage the schedule somehow that the lobby remains not busy in all time.
Highly recommend Viva Pediatrics.

Absolutely the best Dr and Nurse experience! My 1.5 year old was having difficulty breathing. I was terrified and called the office who immediately got him in. Our Nurse, Mari, took one look and started him on a breathing treatment. It was night and day for baby boy! Dr. Cuellar followed up to address all my concerns, gave us a prescription, and thoroughly looked him over. Seriously, saved the day. We would have ended up in the hospital over the weekend, had they not intervened with the best care. They even went above and beyond to resend a prescription that our pharmacy had an issue with. Thank you Mari and Dr. Cuellar, we are beyond grateful for you!

Had the absolute best experience at Viva Pediatrics today. Thoroughly satisfied with the compassionate care, ease of visit, and flexibility of the staff that we experienced. Today was our first visit for our son and daughter. They squeezed my daughter in for a last minute appointment with my sons well visit. Dr. Zamora was so great with both kids. My daughter is usually very shy but opened up to Dr. Zamora. She is high energy and very knowledgeable. Also the facility is very clean and front staff is very nice. Highly recommend.

I’m so thankful for Viva Pediatrics. My 8 month old daughter was having an allergic reaction to eggs, and I couldn’t get a hold of her previous doctor and was always put in a queue for a callback. I called Viva Pediatrics, and the receptionist answered right away. She was prompt, well trained, highly knowledgeable, and very nice!!

Dr. Zamora-Campos and the receptionist worked as a team, and they helped me know what to do to stop her reaction. She was then seen promptly afterwards. The office was clean and spacious, not overly crowded at all. I’m switching both my girls to this practice after having a tough time finding a good pediatrician after we moved here last year!! :-)

I can’t say enough good things about VIVA Pediatrics! Dr. Cuellar is great with the kids. Both my children feel so comfortable going to the doctor because they know it’s Dr. Rick! The quality of care we get is very in depth and accurate. I always feel they go the extra mile to take care of my kids. I TRUST VIVA Pediatrics 100% with my children's health! The office staff is super friendly and the building is new, updated and welcoming. The location is easy to get to off I 10 with plenty of parking! Highly recommended!

Dr. Cuellar is an outstanding pediatrician who has a soft heart and love for children and is extremely intelligent and explains everything in language that the average person understands. He has amazing bedside manner and a very positive and helpful attitude. He is available to help at all times and follows up on my children even after he sees them in his office. The staff are friendly and the office is clean and tidy.

As first time parents, taking our baby to Dr Cuellar and viva pediatrics has been nothing but helpful within 5 minutes of talking to him my wife and I were already so much more relaxed about how well our baby was doing. The clinic is brand new and kept super clean and the staff is friendly. We couldn’t be happier choosing them to care for our baby girl!

This office is AMAZING. Dr Cuellar is a true healthcare provider who practices with integrity, compassion, and thoughtfulness! On more than one occasion he has provided a consult over the phone to help put me at ease about issues with my children. He is always helpful and so caring. And, if you prefer a female pediatrician, his partner Dr Zamora-Campos is fantastic as well!! Highly recommend this practice in the midst of a less than ideal healthcare world. Love this office and the care they provide!!! Plus, they are right across I-10 from FOR, so very convenient!!

Dr. Cuéllar is fantastic! His methods of practice really fall in sync with what we want for our baby girl. As a first time mom, he’s provided me with so much information and ultimately peace of mind. His entire team is professional and friendly and the location is very convenient. I would absolutely recommend him to all of my friends with confidence.

Stepped into VIVA pediatrics for the first time today and was very pleased with the care we received!! Dr. Cuellar was very informative and thorough! He took time to explain about allergies and the symptoms we are having and suggested what we should do. I love his style of practice: educating me as a parent and allowing me to make decisions based on that information rather than just prescribing meds or shuffling me out the door. His nurse was a pleasure to work with as well! My daughter can be shy & nervous in a doctors office, but afterwards she commented on how funny Dr. Cuellar is and how she felt very comfortable there. I'm so glad to have a doctor close by and one who is also a member of our community. Highly recommend this practice!

I just wanted to thank Dr. Cuellar for not only checking on my baby, but also checking in on me as a mother. Despite his busy schedule, he took extra time to address my concerns with compassion and empathy. He was very comforting while I had tears and expressed my challenges as a mother. He demonstrated that he is a great physician with a big heart and passion for effectively helping his patients. He gently highlighted certain problems and developed a game plan. As I am writing this post happily and at ease with tears in my eyes I am forever grateful I chose Dr. Cuellar as my son’s doctor.

Dr. Veronica Zamora-Campos has been my child’s pediatrician for the last 11 years. She is awesome! Incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to listen and educate. We love going to Viva’s new location near Boerne/Fair Oaks. It’s a beautiful, clean, new office. It’s easy to make an appointment and be seen in a timely manner. We wouldn’t go anywhere else.

We take our 2 and 4 year olds to the Fair Oaks Ranch office. The offices are clean and new, and I feel safe taking my kids there during the pandemic. They do not keep people waiting in the waiting room, but get them back into an office quickly. We love the Drs - they are thorough, friendly, supportive, responsive and explain their reasoning to you. They take the time to answer the 500 questions I usually have. They are also fantastic about fitting us in last minute when one of the kids is not feeling well. We have never had a wait when we arrived - they run on time. They are very flexible and accommodating. The Drs are also great with my kids - my four year old wants to know why Dr Cuellar never comes to our house to play with him 🤪. I highly recommend them.

We are new to the area and were so lucky to find such an amazing pediatrician right from the start. Dr Cuellar has seen all three of my kids now, and I can't say enough good things about him and his staff! He is extremely personable, made my kids feel at ease, and is very knowledgable with regards to all of my concerns. Look no further, you have found your pediatrician!

What a time to be alive! Today will be our newborn son’s 2 week check up at Viva Pediatrics North- and honestly, we’re excited to go! My husband and I feel like we hit the jackpot with this new practice in Fair Oaks Ranch! There is a small highly trained and dedicated staff of two board certified Pediatricians and nurse Kim.

When my husband and I realized we had more questions about being new parents than WebMD had answers, we knew we would need a knowledgeable, compassionate and patient Pediatrician, and after hours of research and reading reviews, we are overjoyed to have found that in Dr. Rick Cuellar!

Dr. Cuellar, met us at the door and spent most of our first two visits educating us and putting our minds at ease. We both breathed a sigh of relief as we left, and have not been able to keep quiet about Viva Pediatrics since! The secret will soon be out— if you need a new pediatrician bring your kids to the only place we feel confident to trust with ours!
