Carrot Patch Cafe

This was such a refreshing find. They have keto and gluten free options. The cafe is inside a healthfood store so you can browse while you wait for your food. The food was tasty and the employees are friendly.

Diverse menu with healthy options for different dietary needs or preferences, including gluten-free bread, keto cloud bread, and vegan. Nice salad selections as well.

Website was easy to navigate to place an order! Ordered the Southwestern Chicken Wrap with bacon and pickles onions.

It was HUGE, delicious, refreshing, and made in an orderly time. The staff was very kind.

The Carrot Patch is a must try.....if you live in Kerriville and have never been you are missing out. I am glad my daughter found this gem when on our way out. The customer service is great and must I say the food is healthy and amazing at least what we ordered. I did not get a pic of my daughters food but she was satisfied. The health store has great friendly customer service. The snacks my daughter picked up although healthy they did crave our sweet tooth urges so that alone is amazing. I recommend going to both. You never know you may love it again if you live in Kerriville you should definitely be supporting these two local businesses. I know I would if they were in my town.

Absolutely awesome! Staff are wonderful, helpful and enthusiastic with customers. The elk Burger is absolutely delicious and I love that it's a vegan based Mayo as my allergies mean it's not often I go somewhere and can just eat what they serve as is. LOL the kale salad with the veggies and pine nuts with so flavorful and very fresh ! definitely will be back

Sandwiches are delicious! Many options whether you eat meat or want Vegan. Staff is super friendly and atmosphere is laid-back. Will definitely return!

This is a great hidden gem of a local health store and Cafe for lunch during the week through Saturday. I discovered it several years ago and fell I love with their variety of foods. My most favorite is the BAT sandwich on either whole wheat toast or bun with crispy bacon, avocado, and alfalfa sprouts. Side of blue corn chips or regular chips and a pickle spear. This time, I was super hungry, so I also got a bowl of their super good Buffalo chili with shredded white cheese on top.

ELK burger!! It was superb, tasted like steak and not "gamey", good texture. Cucumber water was flavorful and refreshing on a hot day. Wish I found this place sooner. It's inside the healthfood store. Friendly service with a smile and very clean. I'll be back to try their smoothies other customers raved about.

The most delicious Buffalo wrap ever! Driving through Texas and we wanted a healthy bite, this place was delicious! Cute local atmosphere and super friendly staff. A nice gem of a find in the middle of all these fast food joints. Check them out…

Delicious beyond meat burger. Kale salad was refreshing! Grabbed it to go and headed over to the river park. Bliss.

We came here after the Kerrville triathlon, and it was a delightful experience. The vegetarians and others were all quite happy. Never have I seen such a beautifully stuffed veggie sandwich. I wish we could stay and try everything. 10/10 would munch again.

Stopped in for lunch and had the Turkey Spinach Wrap. It was AHMAZING!

Omg just had the best lunch!! I was getting tired of fast food so I stumbled upon the Carrot Patch while looking for lunch. I had the vegan burger and it was so good! It tasted just like a real burger! I will be back!

I love this place for lunch!! All the food is great and my favorites are the homemade Buffalo chili and garlic herb wrap Chicken Bacon Ranch wrap and I get alpha sprouts added to it. It's delicious!! Dorothy the restaurant manager is very sweet and accomodating!! Also the cucumber water is very refreshing I love it. Give it a go you won't be disappointed. Other items include a variety of salads and homemade fresh smoothies and vegan options too.

The restaurant is inside a health food store. It is a little hard to find with a small sign which is not very visible from the road. Wonderful soups, large salads and great wraps. Great variety in the menu. Although we didn't try any, the desserts looked fabulous.

Possibly one of the BEST places I've ever been to eat, which is saying a lot. Came here while playing a tournament in Kerrville and didn't expect much because of how few reviews there were. I was BLOWN AWAY.

The prices are AMAZING. They offer vegan and gluten free options for almost anything for barely extra, and the most expensive food item may have been $15 with solid portions.

I had the elk burger and I would recommend it to ANYONE. It was one of the best burgers I've ever had. Meat was cooked and seasoned to PERFECTION and the bread was delicious. It's only $11 or so and enough for one person's entire meal. They serve free cucumber water and it tastes fresh--coming from someone who doesn't usually like cucumber water. Buffalo chili soup was above average.

The area was nice, very neat but casual, and connected to the store (which had a similar vibe and food choice) so you could look around while you waited.

There were only 2 people doing the cooking and running the register, but that mightve been because we were there a bit later than lunchtime. The lady at the register was SO, SO nice; she made my entire day. She was super sweet, personal but not nosy, and came back to check on you, asking if you enjoyed the food and if you needed anything. I wanted to order ice cream for dessert and asked for two scoops (and it was only $1/scoop!) but she kept saying their scoops were too small and giving me about 5 scoops in total in the end. Then she told me I didn't even have to pay for it and to enjoy my Saturday! I will be inviting anyone in the area to go. Absolute opposite of a bad experience.

Great healthy lunch alternative, the Elk burger and veggie sandwich were deliciou. Refreshing and lite, especially on a warm day, looking forward to trying the egg salad sandwich next.

Just loved my lunch here recently. Darling little cafe that shares space with Kerrville Health Foods.

Great place for vegetarian meals. They also offer chicken and other meats. The food is fresh and delicious. The salsa is freshly made each day. What really makes this restaurant a 5 star is the workers. Everyone is so friendly.
