Kome Thai & Sushi Bistro

I cannot say enough good stuff about this place. I love Thai food and sushi. I have been place that did both well, but this place is my new got to for the area. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was cozy! If you like either Thai food or sushi or both check it out. You won't be disappointed!

I have now tried it a couple times when visiting Shepherdstown. The food has been amazing every single time and the staff always very friendly and very helpful. It's honestly one of my favorite Thai and I will drive 45 minutes to get it. One of my favorites is definitely the pad thai but there's also a lot of amazing options, like the bulgogi, which was so tender, juicy, and flavorful. The tempura was also crispy and on point! I highly recommend you to try them!

Delicate flavors and textures. Food cooked and spiced just right. Daily special of Pumpkin curry was perfect too.

We had a great lunch today. I had eggplant with tofu that was delicious, my husband had pineapple duck and our cousin enjoyed dumplings and coconut soup. We were seated at a booth and felt safe. Our waiter was attentive and wore a mask. Co vid protocols intact. I will post pictures of the food with a very appetizing presentation. Do not miss this hidden gem!

Everyone I know who has eaten here loves this place. The food is outstanding, the atmosphere is very comfortable and pleasant, and the service is excellent. Shepherdstown is such a quirky small town with a slightly funky vibe, and Kome is part of the attraction. I usually get Ka Prow with tofu, and I have never once been disappointed. I ask them to add broccoli, and they are pretty willing to adjust their dishes to one’s liking. It’s nice that they are the only place on Main Street open for dinner Sunday (besides the Press Room), thank goodness! We come here all the time from Maryland, and it is our number one choice when dining in Shepherdstown.

Best Thai and sushi place in town. I had the spicy basil duck, Pad see eww and some rolls. Everything taste very yummy! I would definitely come back when I’m in town again.

Yup, you’ll want to try this gem in the heart of Shepherdstown, West Virginia. This Authentic Thai and Sushi Bistro was once another restaurant but has been improved since by Kenny the new owner.

The interior has two sides. The Full Bar, Sushi Bar are on one side and there is additional seating with a wondrous amount of natural light on the other.

I have been to so many Thai places all over the country AND in Thailand. This is hands down the best Thai food I’ve ever had without question, and they have great service and a nice sit-down restaurant to match it. But the food! I just had to leave a review, I eat here all the time and have yet to order something that isn’t the best of the best!

Very tasty. Ordered pickup and was ready on time. The lemongrass soup was not what I expected and I was not a fan of it at all, but everything else was quite good.

We were in town for a trip and decided to come for dinner. The food & service were so good that we changed plans and came back for dinner again the next night! Our servers were very kind and helpful, and the food was incredible with generous portions. I can't say enough good things about the place.

Just found a nice place for sushi, Japanese, and Thai food. The Sashimi platter was some of the best we have had in a long time. Extremely fresh and generous with portions. The Thai Fried Rice was excellent as well seasoned. This restaurant has a full bar, excellent wine selection, and nice beer selection. The restaurant has about 20 tables. It has a very laid back and quiet atmosphere. The restaurant very intimate setting but yet casual. Staff was very attentive as well and made excellent recommendations. We came hungry. We left full and very satisfied with the courses. Would highly recommend and recommend making reservations during peak times. Can't wait for the return visit.

The basil duck and pineapple duck are fantastic. They have the best crab wontons and spring rolls we have ever eaten.

I've been coming to this establishment for many years for sushi, under the old business and the current. This visit today was the best sushi I've had here. Not that I disliked it before but it was even better this time and well presented.

Great food here! Got the Lemon Grass soup with chicken that was in a huge bowl, the salmon Penang was awesome but the Ribeye Bulgogi was the money! Large portions for lunch.

My girlfriend and I think this is the best restaurant in Shepherdstown. Crispy Basil Duck and Sashimi Deluxe are our 2 favorites. But the whole menu is great. Good staff too. Real friendly.

Great experience! Even though they didn't have a sushi chef during our visit, I can say that the food was fantastic! It's been a couple years since we had been here and were expecting great things-- and they delivered again! The spices were done right, the meats and vegetables were done perfectly! We will definitely go here again, and recommend it to anyone in the area!

We had a fantastic first experience here. We ordered a variety of items and they did not disappoint! The passion for the food is clearly represented in the presentation and quality, as well as great service and atmosphere. We will definitely be returning.
