I tried to give the office staffer some Girl Scout cookies and she said they couldn't accept gifts. So I told her they were a campaign donation, because I know Rep. Smith accepts those. She would not give us any information about Smith's positions or tell us when he would meet with constituents or how we could arrange a meeting. Referred everything to Washington email addresses that we have already determined do not reach anyone. It's sad that taxpayers are footing the bill for this office.

This dreary little basement office is a cold-hearted place where Rep. Lamar Smith never meets his long-suffering gerrymandered constituents. His rare appearances here are comprised of behind-locked-doors staged photo ops that give the illusion that he cares or secret meetings with climate-change denying Big-Oil donors. His morose office assistant growls menacingly if a camera is pointed at her. She makes notes of constituents' sincere concerns with severe abridgment, turning minutes of conversation into 5 or 6 short words. If you ever visit this forlorn pit of political callousness, go with our prayers that it is soon vacated and the name on the door unceremoniously loses its title U. S. Representative.

This right-wing nut job doesn't represent me nor anyone else that I know living in the 78704 area. He supports the Trump and the corporate coup d'etat that his administration represents; they deny science, common sense and reality itself. Like Trump and the anti-Americans that support his fascist agenda he's got to go! Gerrymandering, voter suppression and collusion with Russia put these liars in office...it's up to us WE the people to remove them from power if it's not already too late! We are losing our democracy!

1st member of congress to donate to Donald Trump. Refuses to take action to address climate change. Has voted over and over again to wreck the healthcare of thousands of residents of Congressional District 21. And yet, keeps getting reelected through the gerrymandering he actively participated in. Time for him to go!

A congressman unqualified to judge an elementary school science fair. A staff that doesn't care about constituent concerns or the dangers facing america.

Wish there was negative stars to grade Mr. Smith. He is a disservice to our great country.

Absolutely disgraceful that you refuse to have a town hall with your constituents.
