The Far Out Lounge & Stage

Being from out of town, this was my first time here. The atmosphere is excellent. We were very impressed with the outside stage and layout! From the outside, you would never know how great this place is! I can not wait to come back and see another show here! We saw the Heavy Heavy and what a delight. Parking was super easy and very, very safe! The drinks were great and so was the service. I met a few new friends as well.. People are happy and friendly.

Visited Far Out for the first time during the 33rd Annual Hot Sauce Festival. This is a pretty neat venue, with plenty room and friendly service. Hosting the Hot Sauce Festival here was a good idea, and fit the atmosphere well!

Took an Uber here. Bought a new motorcycle recently and was chatting with the bartender about it. Assured him, drunkenly that I would never ride it drunk. (Truth) He still took a walk to the parking lot to make sure my bike wasn't there. Excellent bartenders save lives. Should have tipped more.

Had an amazing time @ the Heel County Fair as well as the other events I've attended @ The Far Out Lounge & Stage! While the facility, service & atmosphere are amazing, it is hard to rate the food options high when it seems the times I've been there, either there's no options for me, they're closing or there's nothing open at all.

We stopped in for Motown Monday with the Matchmaker Band and they were amazing! Super talented artists, upbeat, and engaged with the audience. We're from out of town and weren't sure how big a crowd would gather for a Monday night, but we were very pleasantly surprised with the turnout! The band, venue, and staff offered a welcoming and airy space for all ages to experience the music in whatever way feels natural. Love that it's dog friendly and there are food trucks if you need a snack. The smokey margarita was fantastic! 10/10 would attend every Monday if we lived in Austin!

Great venue - I was impressed by the friendly, laid back vibe. Saw a great show on Friday of Labor Day weekend - an ELO cover band. The music was great, the mix was excellent, and I loved the food trucks and shops outside.

Had never been here before, the show was great and their Elderflower Lemonade cocktail is damn tasty. We didn’t get to try their food trucks but by the looks of it, everything looked and smelled great. The vibe of the place was awesome and the sound engineer def knows what they’re doing - both bands sounded great!

Stumbled across this New Age Bar with lots of Live Music with food on Deck. Definitely enjoyed this bar and the drinks. Dog friendly, food available, live music! Great environment with great entertainment

freaky music central! plenty of space outside. with shade. loads of ice water coolers. dog friendly. trailers with killer food. nice staff. funny wild crazy people all over. my fave outdoor music spot.

This has the best atmosphere of any music venue I have ever been to in the entire Austin area. It was incredibly spacious, lots of tables, and had more of a festival stage vibe rather than a caged in venue. Sound quality was amazing and since the venue was so large it never once felt crowded. 10/10 on the concert quality.

Parking was 10$, they opened up the lot next door when the first option filled up. Unsure of what the entirety of parking options available are because I came from out of town. Cash or card.

Food truck wasn’t ready and only had cold subs available at first. It was when the doors first opened so that’s 100% understandable, but wish they would have at least warmed up my sandwich.

Bar consisted of three lines of $9-$14 drinks(pricier side) and moved so so. Two fast bartenders, one slower.

Bathrooms were a row of toilet stalls(functional toilets, lights and sinks) but half out of service. Not the best, but very very far from the worst I’ve seen.

Overall, I wish more shows were booked here because the outdoor space blows Stubbs out of the water. They’re currently looking for more food truck options which I think would really be the cherry on top for an already incredible venue.

Great spot for dancing and having fun! Lots of parking, only $5 cover for an amazing funk band on Mondays, and some nice food trailers in the back. Very laid back and inclusive vibe. Will definitely come back more~ 😁

Great venue! This was our first time here, and we were so impressed! We so loved the outside stage and all of the surroundings. We saw a band called the Heavy Heavy and they were Fantastic. We will definitely be back to this place for live music. From the outside, this place does not do it justice. We were able to park on site with no issue... Drinks were Excellent!

Love this new neighborhood bar. The inside is quirky and cozy, the drinks are delicious, and the staff is very nice. There's also an outdoor patio with a food truck and lots of space to relax.

The Drag Queen Disney sing along was so much fun! Great place to hang out for food and drinks with friends.

What an amazing venue. My daughter and I ventured far out to see Loathe. The opening acts were just as great. The atmosphere was electric, kudos to all those watching out for each other in the pit. Staff was welcoming and the wait was minimal. Overall great price great venue and an even greater experience.

One of my new favorite places... great staff, the singers I've seen here are fantastic..... Cari Hutson put on an amazing show....cute vintage market

Great space for outdoor shows. Also the drinks are food and reasonably priced.

Cool place. I made an online order for one of the food trucks on the inside, walked around this place several times very confused because I didn't see the truck, and then walked through this little building to ask for directions and then boom. It opens into a big area with food trucks, tents, and live music. Neat surprise and the food was good. I might swing by for a beer and music sometime, as it looks like a nice little hidden local place to relax.
