Great selection of plants and soils, very reasonable delivery costs for soils/mulch if needed. Glad to have such a nursery in shepherdstown.

They have the friendliness, the product, and the knowledge. We bought all of our plants here since we discovered it in May. They are beyond helpful for new gardners like us. 100% recommended!

These people are awsome and friendly! They told me on a Monday they should be able to deliver our dirt by Friday. They delivered within 2 hours, same day, and in the requested spot. I look forward to doing business with them in the future.

This nursery is awesome. They have a massive selection of flowers, plants, vegetables, herbs, trees, soil, pots, seeds, mulch, topsoil, gravel, and more. Their prices are decent, and their plants and flowers are great quality and survived transplanting. They have great customer service, and are helpful if you are having trouble finding a certain plant. I am definitely coming back again and again.

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff, and their selection for fruits/veggies/herbs is fantastic. Several varieties were offered that I'd never even heard of and they do a good job of keeping their plants ready to go (no dry roots like major stores).

Quarters are tight but, there's a lot going on in the short growing season. I watched 4- truck loads of mulch leave while we shopped.
This is a family owned and operated business and the children are involved!

Very nice place, best prices I’ve found around so far!

I've been dealing with Potomac Farms since we moved to the region over a decade ago because they always had the best local selection of native plants and trees. We make a run at least annually (either for more plants/trees or for garden soil). Their prices are reasonable, we've never had any plants or trees we purchased fail due to poor health/quality from the nursery, we are usually asked if we need any help in selecting plants multiple times while we browse, and we've always had any questions we had answered pretty quickly (even if the person we initially ask didn't know the answer and had to find someone else). So really, no problems, no complaints, and our most recent trip continued to be a very pleasant experience. We'll be back!
