I had an absolutely wonderful experience at the hair salon! It was my first visit, and I'm already looking forward to going back. The staff was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was inviting, and most importantly, I left feeling incredibly satisfied with my hairstyle. From start to finish, it was a five-star experience, and I can't wait to return for my next appointment!

I love the professionalism of all the stylist at Studio SLK. They are great at what they do and it's always a pleasant experience. I mostly have gone to get my hair out in cornrows to go underneath a wig, for protective styling. They use great products as well as great technique! I also have gone for a silk press several times and they did not disappoint. The owner, Sandy is who I have gone to as well as stylist Alia! You can't go wrong with any of the stylist though.

Beautiful laid back atmosphere, with old school classics (music) playing in the background. I met with Tiffany and she was warm and personable. She also has a lot of knowledge about hair as well as healthy supplements to take for your hair. I’m very happy with my hair, I forgot to ask if she could smooth my hair with some edge control 😊. But I’m glad to finally find a salon that is the right match for me.

Absolutely THE BEST salon in Chicagoland and beyond! Sandy did my hair beautifully throughout my college years at Northwestern, and during the years I lived in Chicago after that. She is a total perfectionist and wonderful, beautiful person with the biggest heart and incredible talent! With Sandy, my hair and spirit were always fly!

Tonight, Barb did my nails and it was the best pedicure and manicure EVER! I’m so thankful for these two beauties and I’m excited to get my hair done by Sandy while I’m in town!

Lily got the BEST haircut here: Tiffany is so nice and patient. She remembered us even though we’ve only been there once and that was a while ago. I’ve taken her other places and it has never come out as good as when she got her hair cut at slk. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

We love coming to the salon, the atmosphere is so relaxing. Tiffany always does a great job on my daughter's hair. My daughter is biracial and we've had some bad experiences other places. Everyone here is knowledgeable with the different textures of hair. Sandy the owner, is really sweet too.

Great experience as usual. With all the new safeguards in place, I felt very comfortable going back. This establishment was clean and sanitized. My stylist Sandy took great care of my hair and I walked out feeling like a million bucks. Awesome customer service. Friendly faces and smiles all around.

I use Studio SLK for my haircuts by owner Sandy and I love the way she cuts my hair. When I do it my self my hair falls right into place because of the great haircut. I also use Barb for my mani/pedi and love my relaxing time getting pampered with a spa like experience. The whole atmosphere at the salon is extremely relaxing and very friendly. I haven't gone to the shop to get my hair done in over five years. I haven't trusted anyone with my hair. I went to Studio SLK two weeks ago and LOVED it. Great atmosphere. Great people. I got so many compliments on my hair. It's been over two weeks and I haven't needed to put any more heat on it. I'll definitely be a regular.

I enjoy coming to the Salon. The owner Sandy is wonderful. She runs a very professional salon. My stylist Tiffany is very professional and always take time to rod my hair. She gives me ideas on how I could style my hair.
The nail technician is equally professional and gives ideas on how to keep my nails healthy.. They make sure to practice safe Covid-19 precautions which is truly nice.

I love Studio SLK. The owner runs an amazing salon! Sandy, the owner is an incredible hair professional who is very knowledgeable of all hair types. She has handled my hair well. Alia, one of the hair stylist/professionals there does an amazing job as well. I have been a client of Alia's for a couple of years now and she is extremely knowledgeable about caring for natural hair, color, etc. You really can't go wrong with either of these stylists. My hair is growing, healthy, thickening up and thriving well. I highly recommend this salon!!

I absolutely love StudioSLK! Sandy has been doing my hair for at least 20 years! I trust her, her recommendations and suggestions for maintaining my styles. The salon is visually appealing, it’s busy - in a good way. The Salon hosts pop-ups featuring local entrepreneurs and they are socially conscious. All around a great salon!

My daughter has African American hair which is a world I did not know for myself. My friend referred us to SLK and not only did my daughter leave the salon feeling more confident and beautiful than ever, but I was taught what products to use and how to handle her hair. True Excellence and Heart!!!

Sandy is an incredible stylist and business owner. This salon has ALL of the elements that you want in an experience and none of the ones that you don't.
You are greeted warmly and then transported into a spa-like, relaxing atmosphere, with warming beverages included. The salon is quiet, with sprinkles of fun conversation.
The stylists are sweet, warm and work quickly. My hair always looked great. When I came to Sandy, my hair was damaged due to my choice not to go the salon as frequently as I used to. Sandy, in a short time, had my hair growing back and I enjoyed every visit. This is the salon for you!!! You'll love your hair and your visit, equally.

Lovely aesthetics and very friendly, down to earth beauticians. They take great care with your hair and are efficient. Parking is easy and they do pedicures too

I've been going to this hair salon for 4 years and I cannot speak more highly about it. I usually get a wash, blow dry, and flat iron on my 3C hair. The women who work here are so nice and friendly. Tiffany is my usual stylist and she is an angel who does a fantastic job on my hair. Plus they play the best R&B music in the background! If you're looking for a black hair salon please give Studio SLK a try!

My last visit was yesterday and I got a wash, blow dry, and trim. First of all, Jasmine the shampooist, gave me a GREAT scalp massage! I started drifting off to sleep! It was relaxing. I had a bad headache the day before, so I needed a good scalp scrubbing and massage. Alia is my stylist and she always has my hair lookin’ and feelin’ amazing! She’s professional and fast! SLK studio is always so professional and clean. I love the decor! It’s eclectic and jazzy! All the stylists are dressed like artists and look great! The music is ALWAYS on point!!! I love 90s r&b! It’s always a nice experience and my hair looks and feels good! Alia gets me in and out to finish the rest of my day…and has me lookin’ good! 😎
