D&D Finer Foods

This place has such a great selection of very niche things. Lots of candy and drinks. The beer section in the back is phenomenal and offers lots of selection. Although it's not the cheapest, if you're in Evanston and into beer or trying new beers, this is the place to go. The deli is also great. The sandwiches are delicious and aren't too badly priced.

Really neat market store. Personally I am gluten free and they had a number of great options. A lot of great items in this space and staff was really friendly. Will make it a point to go back again when in the area.

Our favorite sandwiches in Evanston are made at D&D's by the nicest folks. They are kind, fast, and accommodating to customers- we love D&D's and you will, too! Shoutout to the Yawdi sandwich ;)

Staff always helpful and friendly. Store stocks lots of European specials (like decent tea!), has a fantastic delicatessen, and butcher. We order our Christmas turkey from them

Incredible experience and service here! I have been going to DnD for about 2 years and I have to say, no store offers better customer service, selection of beer AND food, or a personal touch than this place. I get smiles when I walk in, some staff check in and see how life is going, they are in pulse with the community. They are always trying to host events, offer more products, and fun-unique items. I would not listen to a SINGLE negative review because they clearly were not paying attention. Now living in Chicago, I go back to this place. This place knows how to care for a customer, foster relationships with other vendors, and provides 5 star experience. Best store in Evanston and I’ll die on that hill!

I would give 10 stars if I could. They have everything you might need, best Deli sandwiches with super fresh ingredients and friendly staff. Plus, is owned by a lovely family that offers a great service to Evanston!

Was a go to place before I moved. Was in the neighborhood so I had to stop in! Wanted a chicken gyro that the wife liked, but they don't have that anymore. They offer grilled chicken on a pita instead! Yummm!! Best sauce I've ever had! Still have my favorite on the menu: steak sandwich, polish, gyro, etc...

Hands down best craft beer selection in the city curated by one of the friendliest and most knowledgeable beer guys around. The corn dogs up front are to die for and don’t get me started on the deli sandwiches in the back. I always roll out of d and d with a smile !

Lovely family-owned business. I often drop in to get a sandwich from the deli during my lunch break and pick up a grocery item or two.

They have a great selection of products and alcohol. Some unique, some familiar.

This place has the best sandwich service counter in Evanston. Easily the most delicious sandwiches available in the area. The workers here are also really great and friendly, and care about having a great grocery store.

The diner has tasty gyros and cheeseburgers. The price is nice too.

Here from Boston and doing some sightseeing in the area. Looked up best hot dog and D&D came up. Ordered a Chicago style Polish dog upon recommendation of the cook. It was delicious!!! We east coast people put ketchup on but I refrained so as to get the full Chicago experience. YUM!!

Deli sandwiches are where it's at. Fresh and toasted.

Uodate: the great meat counter and Greek specialties did not survive Covid. Also the staff is has completely turned over. Still good for a quick grocery shop when you don’t want to deal with a big store.

I have been having sandwiches at the Deli for 4+ years and they are the best. So many amazing sandwiches, but personal favorites are The Penthouse and the Sean Juan... Honestly both could go into the Sandwich Hall of Fame. Also during November they made a special, The Gobbler, which was also delicious. ALWAYS friendly staff. Call ahead if you can to avoid lunch line!

Really love this place. Perfect when I need to grab some beer or wine on the go. The owners are friendly and the deli staff recommended the Sausalito sandwich and its now my favorite from the menu. I'm a picky eater and they are always accommodating for my order.
