Red Top Barbeque & Chili

I’ve been coming to Red Top for awhile now, but today was my first time coming since they moved into their new location. The food was nothing short of amazing per usual! The owners are always so welcoming and they’re very deserving of their beautiful new location!

Yuuuum!! We have been wanting to stop by Red Top for some time and now I can’t wait to go back. My husband and I both got brisket with the honey sauce which was fantastic. So tender and flavorful. I personally like that it’s sliced thin, about 1/4 or 2/3 inches. That’s served with two pieces of bread and we both added 2 sides. We had cole slaw, potato salad, green beans, and mac n cheese. We also got a side of gumbo which was pretty good. Their gumbo has shrimp, chicken and sausage all in it which some places leave one or two of those out for some reason. It was a nice amount for the price, everything was priced fair. I’m going to go back for more gumbo, some nachos and burnt ends. The lady at the window is sweet as pie too! Hopefully you don’t have to drive far because smelling your food on the way home will make you drool... maybe not literally but it was hard not to eat and drive.

This is the place that will make you remember your dad's 4th of July backyard barbecues with ribs, pork steaks, and chicken. It's old school comfort food and it is wonderful.

Been working on and off on the building across the street and would periodically smell the bbq starting in the morning so had to give it a try. The food tastes even better than the smell. Pulled pork was done very well and the wings were cooked to absolute perfection with the spice building up which is great for wing enthusiasts. Will definitely be returning again and would recommend Red Top to anybody passing by in Collinsville if the smell of the place doesn’t bring you in on its own!

I had always wanted to stop and try the BBQ because I pass it every day on my way to and from work. My mother placed the order and let me tell you I'm glad she did!!! Everything we ordered was tender, seasoned, and sauced up!!! Their peach cobbler was the icing on the cake for me!!! We will be back!!!!

My friend and I went there for lunch after church ! We were both very pleased with the pulled pork, and pork steak sandwich . Brought home ribs and chicken to go!! My husband loved it . You get plenty of food for the price

Oh yes please!!!

We have lived in collinsville for 14 years and just stopped and ate here for the first time ever. Wow just wow. The hot link, the rib tips (honey flavored bbq), coleslaw and Mac and cheese blew my wife and I away. We are going to call the owners now and give them kudos and see if we can buy some of that bbq sauce somewhere. The mac and cheese especially has a little kick to it which I have never tasted. Going to be going back here many more times in the near future for sure.

We got a lot of food and a cobbler desert for just over 20 bucks. Sure a lot better than going to fast food and spending the same amount or more.

Update 8/25/23: We went to their new location today! Fast and friendly service. Love the new location for them! We had a spicy honey pork steak with baked beans and mac n cheese and an order of pulled chicken nachos. Everything was delicious as always!

Big portions and yummy food!!

Last night was the first time I purchased food at this food chain, and everything was perfect! The slaw was definitely delicious….The meat was flavorful and tender…I will definitely go back. Stop in and support this business because you will satisfied!

We got 3 whole BBQ dinner meals extra side and two big desserts for $50 where other places would have been $100. The price is great and the Food is even better. The woman at the drive through was also so sweet.
I have lived near this place for 3 years and didn’t try it until recently because it was so small but I underestimated it. The spicey sauce was on point, brisket was some of the best I had. Mac and cheese was yummy but could maybe be a little better. Baked beans were delicious and the caramel cake was to die for. I don’t like cake and donuts but I had to steal the cake from my boyfriend. Try it once. Just once. You will be back. We just came to get some for Mother’s Day and we were in Saint Louis. The hour drive to and from was worth it.
