I booked an appointment online for my niece with Emily. Em was amazing! She listened to my niece about what she wanted and also gave her tons of tips to keep her hair in great shape. Em is personable and kind and has such a beautiful vibe.

I absolutely love this place! Evie cuts and dyes my hair blonde. She does an amazing job & is reasonably priced. I drive from the city of Chicago to Evanston to get my hair done by her. Highly recommend.

I had a really great experience for my first time at this salon. The haircut I got is even better than what I asked for and such a friendly welcoming space! Special thanks to Marie😊 Really reasonable pricing as well!

Emily gave me an awesome haircut! She understands hair really well, gave me tips throughout my session, and listened to what I wanted. My hair feels alive again, which is exactly how I want to feel with a haircut.

Emily was great! I've been looking for a new stylist for my curly hair, and Emily did a great job! She listened to what I was looking for, and was totally meticulous, checking in regularly to make sure it was what I was looking for. She gave me a great cut, really maximizing my volume. I'll definitely be coming back for my next cut.

I always have such a great experience when I come here. Katherine and Roula always find time for my appointment around my work schedule. They are attentive and considerate stylists and give me exactly what I ask for. If you are looking to try a vibrant color, ask for Katherine!

I had very long hair and had it all cut off! Katherine did a great job. My friend has been coming here for many years and Lowell always cuts her hair and it looks great too.

Evie is wonderful human who does my blonde highlights perfectly. This place has reasonable prices.

I’ve only been to this salon once before they got new owners. The second time I walked in, the vibes were ~immaculate~ this place has such a beautiful atmosphere. Very quickly you can tell that the people there love what they do and truly work hard to satisfy and exceed clients expectations.

I was lucky enough to have Mhari as my hair stylist and man was I right :) here’s two photos of me rocking the FANTASTIC blonde she did on my whole head. I’ve got numerous compliments and never did I ever think I’d look this good having such a light hair color 🥲

I fell in love with Salon Soto while living in Evanston, now I drive all the way from Lincoln Park for an appointment with Evi- she is amazing!! The love and thoughtfulness that she puts into her salon keeps me coming back.

Really really helpful place that will work with you and your natural hair texture to get lovely results! Evi is amazing at working with wavy and curly hair, and has always been very friendly and kind!

Highly recommend. Salon Roula is a lovely, clean place. Staff are friendly and make you feel welcome. The owner Roula, has cut my hair for over 20 years and I've never had a bad haircut. She's an expert in color and product and always seems to be tuned into the condition of my hair. -- Other members of the staff have cut my hair when Roula has been gone, and I can say the same for them. Always a good hair cut.

Evi is truly a wonderful human being. She fixed my hair during a really frustrating time in my life and really made me feel special. She gets people, and she truly sees and cares about them. Thank you so much Evi. Rockstar hairstylist.

I went to Salon Roula hoping it would become “my salon,” and found my stylist! Evi is wonderful! She is a great stylist who really listens to clients. She helped me find a new style with fabulous highlights and I feel like a new woman.

I started seeing Roula in winter, mid-Covid. I couldn't get in with my regular salon, and my hair was a mess! I picked this place because it is near where I live, and I had no idea about anything else. What a wonderful surprise! Roula discussed with me what I was looking for and she gave me the best cut I have EVER had for my hair type. I've been going back regularly since then. (And I never used to get regular haircuts bc I am lazy). The place is not fancy, but spotless. Everyone who works there is super nice and professional, and they take Covid precautions seriously!

Salon soto is amazing! Mhari the best. She really listened to me to give me exactly what I wanted. This was my first time getting my hair done so I was nervous- but Mhari really listened to me each step of the way!

Roula is wonderful. She has been taking care of my entire family's hair for over 30 years. She knows hair, keeps up with all the trends and techniques, and knows exactly what to do for each client. Roula makes sure that the salon is immaculate and that all health guidelines are followed. Roula is like a member of the family and anyone who gets their hair done at Salon Roula will be happy they did.
