Yuki is amazing and knew how to take my hair from fried to fantastic. She has an intuitive sense of what you need in a haircut and how hair works. Best haircut I've ever had! Highly recommend her and this fun experience!

Yuki is the best CA blonde colorist!!!! When you move to a new city it's really hard to find a blonde colorist and Yuki made it happen today! I left the salon sunkissed blonde and super happy! Love it!!

I got the best haircut from Yuki! She asked questions and immediately knew exactly what I wanted. She took into account my hair type and what is the best way to cut my curls. It is evident the pride she takes in her work and it shows! Finally, I found my place and I will be back.

It really makes a difference when you are in the hands of an expert! Yuki has experience and technique. I scheduled a blow dry for an event, but then we saw my ends... and I received the best trim I've had in years. I don't live in Chicago, but I will definitely return!

I’ve gotten my haircut twice here and I’m never going anywhere else! She truly listens to exactly what you want to give you a beautiful style. She’s so knowledgeable about curly hair, how to enhance your natural texture. She works efficiently, her space is clean and fun. It’s a joy to sit and chat. Salon Texture is my go to salon for my hair needs. I have been going to Yuki for a few years now and I always walk out of there in awe. Yuki gives me a hair trim and color that is undeniably the best in the Chicagoland area. I have long straight hair which can be bland and boring, but, Yuki puts her special touches and layering techniques that makes it look fun and sexy. My last hair color was interestingly fun. She added blonde highlights to my dark brown hair underneath the crown for a fun look when I go out and professional when at work. I'm still getting compliments and it's been 3 months! You know that anxiety when you sit in the chair and cross your fingers and hope the hair stylist understands what you want? There is no anxiety here because she instills trust with her confidence and her artistic approach. Either you got it or you don't...Yuki's got it and then some. The salon is clean, across from JoyYee's, and parking is out front. What more can I say? Go and check her out.

I had a wonderful experience with Yuki today. I wanted her to lighten and cut/shape my hair and she did an amazing job with both. She was warm and welcoming as well. I highly recommend her, especially if you have thick hair that gets bulky.

I had a great haircut experience with Yuki at Salon Texture. I went in with very long, thick hair that hadn't been cut in months and asked for a mullet - Yuki knew how to achieve the look and gave me an expert cut. On top of that, she clearly knows her stuff when it comes to hair care. She shared lots of great tips for maintaining healthy hair which I will be using going forward.

I feel SO lucky I found Yuki for my hair a few weeks ago. I was in town just for a production of a play I wrote that was happening at Northwestern and looking for a blowout. I chose Salon Texture because it was nearby and feel so lucky I went there! Not only did Yuki give me an amazing blowout, but she basically gave me a full consultation on how to help my very damaged hair grow long and be healthier. I ordered the products she recommended and it's already looking SO much better. I'm blown away. She also gave me a free trim at the ends to help it grow, which was so generous. On top of all that, she's kind and funny and a joy to talk to. Highly recommend for whatever you need!!

Yuki was absolutely fantastic! I came in today on very short notice desperately needing a curly cut, and Yuki met and exceeded my expectations! She used her unique dry curly cut technique and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The salon itself is also beautifully decorated with unique art, and Yuki was so much fun to talk to. I have very curly hair and Yuki is the absolute best, hands down. I have had two hairdressers in my life who can cut my curly hair and she is one of the two. This is the happiest and most beautiful my hair has looked in years and the haircut is just fabulous. She is extremely good at what she does, professional and also very fun and approachable . Amazing salon. By far the best one I have been to in the US. The owner is extremely nice and professional. She was the only specialist I met who not only could manage my hair properly, but also gave super useful advice on how to style it. Very happy that I found this place.
