Lan-Oak Park

I absolutely love this park! Besides it being clean, the staff is very friendly. Miss Cat is by far the most friendly and inviting person I have ever met. Full of joy and always smiling. Thank you so much Miss Cat for being so amazing!

I didn't know I live this close to a park. Grandsons came in town so I had to look for one. The park is very nice and clean. Have a small area for toddlers and small children. Love that💕🥰

They built this park up so nice since the last time I was out there. The little one loved it.

Great park, a regular for us. Kids love the playground; different slide heights, many swings, rock wall, balancing ropes and a climbing tower, plus a separate toddler area. The park itself is huge with 2 baseball diamonds on the other end, a couple shelters, built in bags & horseshoe games (byo bags & horseshoes), and a previous tennis court but that's currently being remodeled into something else (not sure what). Also had a sand volleyball court that's also being changed. The park district hosts a lot of events here including a community yard sale, movie in the Park, 4th of July fireworks and some other things throughout the year. Plenty of families have rented the shelters and setup bouncy houses, so there must be outlets around too. Bathrooms available too, but often locked during the day.

Went to the park with some friends and it was beautiful relaxing brought my grandkids out and they had a ball. Thanks again Miss Cat. 2weeks

It was my first time at the park it was very clean and Miss Cat was very friendly and she’s a hard worker and very respectful person

Cathy Jackson is awesome worker very patient kind

My son likes it so I like it! The only drawback is young adults who have no children with them hanging out at the playground.
Not to mention the foul language and the trashing of the playground. Children shouldn't see hear or experience such behavior.
Otherwise great visit as always!
