Beautiful coffee shop with a good number of tables to hunker down and get work done. Special shoutout to their pour overs! I’ve always been skeptical of coffee tasting notes but I tried the Ethiopian udeyi and I kid you not, it actually tastes like watermelon. Awesome experience!

Love this place. It has become my go-to cafe to work at after work. I usually get a chai latte (several non-dairy options) and a pastry. Today I had a delicious sweet potato pie. The service is always friendly. The space is bright and modern, which helps with my productivity. It gets busy, but I've always been able to find seating.

Great spot for coffee and baked goods! First time visit today. Ordered a latte and gluten free berry scone. Delicious!

Menu board has great smoothie options, plus a case of other healthy goodies. Interior is well designed and super clean. Will be back to visit

I've been coming here for years. I think it's a great aesthetic. Inside, always very clean and well taken care of. The baked goods are all made fresh in-house and they know exactly what's in them. Baked items always change because it depends on what's available at hand.

Staff here are always friendly and polite. They are all very knowledgeable about the coffee and the items they sell. Wonderful place.

I love the lighting in the space. All white and natural wood color. The sitting tables are wide and comfortable. The coffee is also great. Because it is so popular, they have the one hour rule though: maximum one hour stay.

I ordered the clean green smoothie ...and it was delicious...the aromas of divine coffee that floated there definitely has me hooked and I'm coming bk soon for my hot cuppa.....

The staff is very friendly and the relaxed atmosphere here allows guests to come and chill....

Ordered a golden latte (turmeric) and it was lovely! The staff helped me pick the cinnamon bread which was a great combo. Definitely will come back here to study!

Spectacular. Felt like I was in Europe. Swedish buns, Swedish vibe. Good music, not too loud. Good coffee. And I'm gluten free so the choice and quality here is really a nice surprise! So hard to find good gluten free. Love the one-hour limit on tables. Keep the cafe a cafe, not a library.

Excellent cappuccino foam art. Very tasty pastries and some savory options. The quiche was light and flavorful.

Such a cute and aesthetically pleasing coffee shop! Coffee was about $9, so a little on the higher end but great tasting ground and super sweet staff.

Newport Coffee House is a fantastic third-wave coffee shop serving excellent espresso-based coffee drinks.

The coffee is great and this place offers a great place to (1) catch up on your work, or (2) meet with colleagues and partners, or (3) sit, relax, and have your morning shot.

I ordered a flat white with their house blend. The espresso shots were well extracted and the milk prepared masterfully.

Wonderful coffee shop in downtown Evanston. Clean, open, and comfortable. Great coffee and croissants. Staff was superb: cheery, attentative, and responsive. Worth the visit for coffee and pastries.

I pay for a metra ticket here at least once a month because it is the best coffee in Illinois and totally worth the extra money to get to go. Also the banana bread is delicious. But cannot go wrong with any coffee

Okay the coffee here is starting to grow on me and easily tops as one of my favorite places in Evanston now. Also, their food is really good too!

I love this coffee shop! It is a 7 minute walk from the lake, beautiful on the inside and out. Coffee was amazing, perfection in a cup! I would highly suggest.

Amazing coffee in downtown evanston. My wife and I are always in the lookout for a good coffee place. We visited for all 3 days we were in Evanston.

I really love coming to this coffee shop. I’m not the closest to Evanston but I will make the trip simply to pick up a nice cappuccino or a lingonberry coffee from this coffee shop. It can get busy but understandably so. The ambiance is great, the drinks are delicious, and the baristas are always so pleasant to be around. Towards the end of the day the pastries get a little on the stale side but I don’t mind that as I’m mostly there to enjoy a cup of coffee and a conversation. I can not recommend this place enough.

Excellent coffee, knowledgeable staff. Great place to sit and get some work done for a short time. Spacious as well, plenty of seating, clean and well kept!
