Lao Sze Chuan Aurora

Came here with my mother, Phyllis for Mother’s Day. Service was quick. The food was abundant. The robot was a future experience. Nice atmosphere.

The owner always takes the time to make sure that everything is fine. We will be back!

The BEST Chinese cuisine in Naperville, no doubt. The Szechuan style string beans have a subtle but distinct taste that keeps me wanting more. Their dry chili chicken, which is their specialty, tastes out of this world, and the chef’s are all Chinese. Get a taste of Sichuan right in Naperville at Lao Sze Chuan, probably one of my new favorites! 100000/10 totally recommend!

This was our first time here and I'm so glad we tried it. Restaurant was comfortable, nice decor, not loud. Wait staff was friendly without being imposing. They have a very cute robot cat that delivers the food. So cute 😍. The menu has some tried and true dishes as well as more unique offerings. We started with dumplings, then I had the crispy shrimp and my husband had Tony's chicken. Everything was delicious. We will definitely come here again.

I was craving some xiaolongbao, so I decided to give this restaurant a try. There was plenty of parking around the restaurant. The restaurant had nice decor and a good ambiance. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. The price was reasonable.

We were skeptical about trying a Chinese restaurant in the Naperville/Aurora area due to the poor reviews. We found this gem and decided to take a chance.

We ordered crab Rangoon and it was the best one we’ve ever had. We also decided to buy lo mein for takeout. We had a great server, Indrajit, for the time we sat in the restaurant. We will definitely be back.

FYI. Cannot wait to be served by the robot the next time we come back.

AMAZING RESTAURANT! I wish I could give them a 10 star because this establishment was awesome! Came here with my husband today and all I have to say is the FOOD, Customer Service, Cleanliness, Management, Staff WAS ON POINT!!! Our waiter Jack & Ayla were so sweet and kept checking in on us, we ordered the crab Rangoon, vegetable spring rolls, fried rice, king pao chicken & chicken with veggies!!!! Everything was DELICIOUS and hot!!! The restaurant is also super cute, and very up to date! The manager was so involved in the restaurant and helped out where she could. She also checked in on us to make sure we were taken care of! This restaurant was busy but still the staff did great! The manager ELIZABETH also gave me some real chopsticks and was overall so nice and professional! I will definitely come back!!! Great experience!!!

Went for lunch. Had egg rolls (2 per order), dumplings (10 per order). Both were hot, freshly prepared and very good. Entrees were Crispy Shrimp with Lemon Sauce, Beef and Chinese Broccoli. Again, both very good and large portions, and we both received a bowl of white rice. Had leftovers to take home. A unique thing was a robot server that brought our food to the table. A lot of fun to see. A very good experience and would recommend.

Great authentic Chinese food! Service was extremely quick, they even have a little robot delivering food to the table. Dan Dan noodles were my favorite! Must try!

Best Chinese food I’ve had in a very long time! The food was authentic and the portions were very filling. My sister and I dinned in and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had the dry chili chicken and she had the shrimp with lobster sauce. DELICIOUS! The animal buns we had for dessert were also very good and cute. Everything was very tidy and cleanly. We loved the little robot as well! 10/10 would recommend, and am definitely coming back here!

This was the best Chinese food I have had in a long time. Not the usual tempura battered chicken in my General Tsos. They looked to be hand breaded. The egg rolls were hand wrapped and the rice was percect. The Mongolian Beef tenderloin was delicious also according to Barky. The robot food server was just cool. It allows the wait staff to stay on the floor and clean and clear tables as you eat. This will be my favorite Chinese place from this point on. It's a shame I don't have a place like this in my area.

A very good place to fill your Chinese food cravings. This place is clean and spacious, suitable for bringing a family in. The home style vegetable bean curd was really good. It had a unique taste and flavor and the quantity was pretty superabundant. The food is a bit pricey compared to other small Chinese restaurants but the atmosphere here is much better than them. Altogether this is place to be visited for good Chinese food.

Nice place. Ordered the dry chilli chicken which was delicious. Also, ordered the sweet and sour chicken which was good but a tad overly sweet. They gave us some kimchi - very hot. And the potstickers were delicious, as well. The staff was nice and will likely go back.

I’ve been going to the Chinatown location for decades and it’s always been a nice experience. I am happy to say that the Naperville location is also very well run with authentic sichuan dishes as well as lots of fan favorites of Chinese food. As usual I recommend the kung pao chicken or the dry chili chicken as well as a lot of the classics such as Dan Dan noodles.

I love this place, went 2 days in a row. Exceptional service and absolutely delicious food!
Bonus points, my kids adore the “cat robot” that delivers the dishes.

If you wanna try authentic Chinese dishes, come here. We live in Chicago and it is the first time that we were in Aurora. One of my friends recommended this restaurant. It is not surprising that it's Size China food is so good, but surprisingly that it's chef is so good at Huaiyang and Hangzhou cuisine, one cuisine style in the mid east of china famous for the natural taste of food and innovation since ming and Wing dynasty. Two dishes particularly impressed me. Sweet and sour fish and Green bean fried with veg and bean curd. Maybe my translation bis not authentic but the taste is! I grew up in this area and this is what my grandparents cooked for me!

WOW! I have not had Chinese food this good since I left New York City. Anything on their recommended menu is worth it. Hands down without question. I will definitely be coming back.

Manager Elizabeth is always very helpful on her suggestion on what food are good. Servers are fast, friendly & helpful. Keep up the good work everyone!

My mom and I checked this out last week. We had lunch. We both enjoyed the choices we made. Egg rolls were fresh and delicious. Our service was excellent. Our waiter told us to come back for dinner, dinner portions are bigger. We had good service and good food. Well be back to try a dinner

We come from far away to enjoy the delicious dishes offered at this place. Service is friendly and professional and multiple choices of dishes including vegetarian and vegan.

Amazing food, very delicious, our son loved the robot and the waiter was amazing! DoorDash experience isn’t as good as in store experience but we can’t wait to come back and visit!
