Food was delicious. We always try to stop here to have dinner when we are visitng Galena, IL. The food is always delicious, tasty, flavorful and presentation is great. We always have great service. Menu is changing which is good. Theres lots of parking. Ambience is good. Very comfy feel to it! 😊 we will be back! Thank you.

Good food and amazing service. The staff here is so attentive and helpful. The view of Lake Galena from the restaurant is simply stunning. They also have some unique and delicious dishes. I recommend trying the Woodlands BLT app - a fried green tomato topped with pimento Gouda cheese, thick cut bacon and apricots for a bit of sweetness. Had never tasted anything like it before and would definitely order it again!

Our meals were delicious, service was friendly and attentive, and the environment was relaxing. My husband had the BLT appetizer and he really enjoyed it. I had the spinach dip and it was so flavorful (the best I've ever had). We both chose a salad as our entree and it was so good. The portions were so filling we didn't have room for dessert, but I've heard from friends that the dessert is delicious.

The food was fantastic. Misty was busy with a large table and running like crazy and still managed to give us a great experience. Highly recommend

Enjoyed brunch on our last day in Galena. Rachel took great care of our group, and Gary made amazing omelets to order! The buffet was fresh and delicious!

What a wonderful place. Every thing we ate during our long weekend here was absolutely the best. The roasted brussel sprouts and prime rib were the best. Very clean and welcoming, staff friendly and observant. That atmosphere is warm, comfortable and inviting.

We have been coming here for 2 years. The manager Jack is one of reasons we come back. The food is always perfect and unique. The service is always on point. You will not be disappointed. And don’t forget to say to Jack when you’re there!

Amazing food and great staff all the way around. Sylvia was our server and did an amazing job when it was incredibly busy! We couldn’t have been happier!

Scott was our bartender. He is extremely tall, and was possibly the best bartender I've been served by. This place is VERY nice. Try the veil pot roast!

We have a vacation home in the area and dine here often. The chef is creative, they have some surprisingly great beers on the menu, the food is always good, the service is always friendly, and the place is just plain comfortable.

We were here for a wedding and honestly the service at the bar at the Woodlands restaurant in the Eagle Ridge resort is the highlight of my weekend.
