Dr. Medler was very thorough, respectful, and communicated with me very well about what I needed, and how I needed to do it in order to clear up my acne. He is very knowledgeable, and cares about his patients concerns :)

The doctor was fine for the 5 minutes I was seen. The $700 bill I received after my 90/10 BCBS Insurance and being “In Network” due to Carle’s “Provider Based Billing” has been a nightmare. Carle’s billing practices are an absolute scam, and are solely setup to help maintain their facilities throughout Champaign. I will never recommend anyone to Carle.

If I could give him zero stars, I would. Terrible provider. Extremely cocky. He messed up my treatment so badly that because of his malpractice, I had frequent relapses and am still undergoing treatment almost a year later. I’ve been to 4 other MD dermatologists (from prestigious medical facilities) and all of them agreed that because of the way Jeremy managed my case initially, that’s why I am in the position I am in right now with my treatment.

Moral of the story, never trust a PA derm. They should not be allowed to practice with the amount of autonomy they are given because they don’t have the training. If you have a complex case, do yourself a favor and find an MD, someone who spends years doing medical and residency training to manage patients appropriately.
