My girlfriend ordered through the phone and they were super friendly. I went in to pick it up and the order was ready and she was very nice to me. After a 25 minute drive home the food was still warm. i thought the rice was great and the dumplings were amazing. My girlfriend loved the sesame chicken.

The soups 🍲 are the best 👌. They make their own chicken 🐔 broth. I haven't tried many of the other foods. They have lunch and dinner 🍽 specials. They're very friendly.

I find it to be a mission to find good spicy mustard. I mean the kind that truly tingle the brain. This place makes their own and it’s by far the spiciest in the best way possible, but be warned it’s 🔥🔥🔥🔥

This is a wonderful place to eat best Chinese food in all of McHenry County. This is a family owned business super Friendly and always delicious.

Ordered a few weeks ago and still my favorite Chinese place. Beats New China for anyone wondering. Great portions of food as well as customer service. Will always be my number 1 option.

This small hole in the wall have such good food. Great portions too. So far i have not had any bad food from here.

The all you can eat sushi here is to die for. These pictures are from their all you can eat lunch menu. As you can see, they take pride in everything they send to your table. The taste matches the looks and the service was on point.

Chinatown McHenry has delicious food and generous portions. Try the Kung Poa chicken.

Excellent kung pow chicken, the chicken is lightly breaded so the sauce which is just the right amout of spice sticks to it in most tasty way. The hot and sour soup was simply the best I've had in McHenry. The egg roll was also done to perfection. I would highly recommend anyone in the area who's in the mood for Chinese fair stop in.

We LOVE Chinatown McHenry. We order out often and it is always clean, fast, and the owner is always friendly. Order and timing are spot on, 100% of the time. Every new item that we try becomes our new favorite. Everything is delicious, right down to our favorite spicy mustard and blackberry ginger ale 2 liters in the cooler. Couldn't ask for a better Chinese Spot.

All elements of my entree were neither under cooked or over cooked. The consistency of the rice is superb sticky. The soup was very good and farthest from thin. I'm a local that tries everywhere, I would recommend the chef here.

Alright so the reviews for this place are about 60/40, and I'm not sure why. I've gone here for about 5 years on a fairly frequent basis and have never been disappointed. Portions are great and food is delicious. Maybe it's not the hoidy toidy stuff they serve in California but this is Illinois, almost Wisconsin, what were you expecting? Staff is courteous and hard working. I tried China City in Fox Lake twice and it was awful-- small portions that made me horribly sick afterwards (too much grease), and both times I was still waiting on my orders even though I waited the amount of time they told me it would take before coming inside. I'm a loyal fan of China Town, as are my friends and family.

My mother and I have been eating here for the past 12 years, we have tried all other Chinese restaurants between McHenry and Fox Lake. This is still our favorite, they have my absolute favorite pot stickers that I’ve ever had in my life. After moving to Chicago I still haven’t found pot stickers nearly as delicious as these.

Fresh fish and attentive staff. The menu has all the typical choices you'd expect from a Suburban Sushi place. The all you can eat Lunch is a great deal if you come hungry.

The food is excellent. Well prepared. Very tasty. A lot of food for the amount of money you pay. I like food and I have leftovers when I order from this place. Highly recommended

I've been eating there since I was a little kid and I haven't found another chinese restaurant that's even close to as good, and not just in McHenry. I've gotten chinese food from places all over Illinois and the US and I haven't found one place as delicious...or as inexpensive!
