Staff is always friendly and helpful. There are great deals on meats depending on the day. Their wing bucket deals on Fridays are awesome!

I once witnessed a man shapeshift into a wolf and run off into the woods that border the parking lot here. I would be extremely cautious bringing children around this area, or at least arming them with some type of silver is a must

Always clean, well stocked on sale items, & well staffed with polite & helpful staff.

I got a nice 9 pound spiral sliced ham for approximately $8!

As usual, the deli was great! Stocked with all kinds of tempting foods. I got a yummy cheese tray, a satisfying poke bowl, but unfortunately, no tamales.

This is my local quick go to. It's right buy a little bit of everything in the area. I wish they had a larger sushi selection though. But the staff there is amazing and always helpful when am having trouble finding something.

Friendly and helpful staff. Exceptional selection of goods. Quick and easy. Always clean and organized. Never had a problem with these guys. Definitely a place to check if your in town and don’t want to make a trip all the way to walmart

I needed Lynn trips for the wash machine and as well. Frosting for sugar cookies that we had just made. I was happy and surprised to find that they did have the frosting. The lint traps were also on sale.

As always picked up our favorite whipped cream cake for my little girl's birthday party🎂. We don't go anywhere else but Jewel to get our cakes 🙃.

They have a great selection of flowers. Priced well too!

I almost exclusively do my grocery shopping at this Jewel-Osco. Super friendly folks work there, and I have never once had anything less than a pleasant shipping trip there. They double-bag everything for me and load my groceries I to my car. (I am disabled so that is hugely helpful). Jewel also goes WAY over the tip, in a good way, hiring folks that may have some challenges. That means SOOOO much to me. GREAT people are what make a business great, and Jewel is GREAT.

jewel is a higher priced and offers slightly better quality than Walmart. good for meats and desserts and cheese. plus all the other staples of a well balanced diet. it's no whole foods or trader Joe's but overall well stocked.

Jewel-Osco has a hometown feel compared to big box stores. I noticed when I first stepped in the store. I found a employee! That not only told me where a product was, but said follow me I'll show you. I haven't felt that feeling of customer service in a long time. I true Jewel in our community!

Just wanted to revise my original review. They corrected the mistake instantly, The store & bakery manger were very responsive and made a ew cake within hours.

Produce is always fresh and they have such a great selection of flowers and plants. Their pharmacy staff is also accommodating and friendly. Prices are a bit higher than local grocery stores so I only go to Jewel if I'm in a pinch or can't find an item elsewhere.

Wow! Mchenry Jewel, which I rarely visit had all sorts of stuff that Woodstock didn't. Mainly the duck was my concern. Woodstock has zero, Mchenry had a bin full. Venison sausage and patties right on an end cap. Quite a few other items. And I don't have someone asking me how many bags I want, so I can pay 10c a bag.

This is a great grocery store. I have shopped here for 4 years. Even in the present inflationary climate, the prices for meat, poultry and eggs have stayed pretty much the same. Prices for fruits and vegetables are also very good.. Of course, other prices have gone up, but increases are usually for processed and packaged foods. Staff is very helpful, and friendly too. But there is always an exception now and then.. The pharmacy is also great.

2 different employee's , at different times still stopped to help me as my left hand is bandaged. 1 employee was going to break and the other was on her way out the door to go home. I also got a Merry CHRISTmas from ALL employees that i had to deal with. Place is clean , friendly and , merchandise isn't out of date decaying. Love it. Little pricey but quality is good

Fresh, wow. Not spicy and really good.
To keep French bread fresh, use and reuse one of their fresh flower bags.
