Sushi Yoru

A very tiny restaurant, cozy and personal. The sushi chef is excellent, the fish is very fresh. Miso soup that came with sushi was incredible. Service very friendly and pleasant. I'm so glad i found this little gem.

I came in to grab a quick lunch and was really impressed by the service, quality, and atmosphere. The lady in the front was super sweet, really attentive and patient. The sushi chef was obviously a skilled man by looking at his knife skills. The food tasted fresh. The fish in my sushi bibimbop was fresh, as well as the mango and salad. Ingredients look like it was maintained and stored to proper procedures. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes sushi or poke. I can't wait to work around the area again to visit!

Since moving to the area almost 2 years ago, my husband and I really enjoy good sushi, and this place is truly a hidden gem! We’ve tried a couple of other local places, but honestly, this is the one place we just always go to when the craving for amazing sushi hits!

The owners are very nice and friendly. I believe it’s just them there, too. The female owner is always pleasant on the phone when we call to place our large order! Her husband (I think) is the sushi “chef.” Most times you do have to order a little in advance for takeout/pickup, but I promise it’s worth the wait! It’s fresh and made-to-order, just like great sushi should be! Every roll is perfection and made with care, and very tasty! We’ve never had a bad experience here, ever.

I hope this restaurant continues to thrive because we need it!! Hands down, the best sushi we’ve ever had! If you haven’t tried it, just do it!

Can't say enough good things! The food was outstanding. The place is run by the sweetest people. Very attentive, even when they were busy. And I'm so glad they were so busy. They deserve it!! The ramen was fantastic. I loved the ginger dressing on the mini salad. So much, I poured the dregs into a soy sauce bowl and dunked my deep fried sweet potato roll. Delish!!!

I really enjoyed their sushi, rolls, soup etc. everything we’ve tried is delicious. We ordered the food to go. Great customer service. I recommend this place

Wow this place is a gem! My husband and I came here last night and got the Godzilla roll, salmon sunset roll, and two different kinds of ramen. Everything was SO delicious and the sushi tasted incredibly fresh. The lady and gentleman that seemed to be running the place are the NICEST individuals. I wish I would’ve taken a picture of the food, but we ate it too fast. This place is almost 40 mins for us, but it’s definitely worth the drive, we agreed it would be our go to sushi spot from now on. See you again soon!

We LOVE Sushi Yoru! If we are craving quality sushi, we come here! Jenny is always so kind and remembers our favorites. The lunch specials are our favorite and it comes with edamame and miso. My son doesn’t like the sauce and veggies in the sushi bowl, and they are always accommodating him by making it simple. We love the sushi bowls with everything! And my daughter gets the Alaskan rolls. Mmmmm

Miss Jenny and her husband who run the place are literally the nicest people on the planet. Their sushi is top-notch. I have never tasted any better sushi anywhere and I’ve been a lot of places. I work next-door and I come here at least once a week for lunch if not twice..

One of the best sushi places I've experienced in Chicagoland. The owners are very friendly and polite and the chef is absolutely masterful. Watching the food be made was a genuine treat. Everything is high quality and delicious. Will be visiting again (and again) for sure!

Hidden gem in the strip mall! This is a mom and pop shop, and the chef has some good ideas for sushi! Good prices and large portions. Tasted fresh and loved the seared rolls.

So pleased with our first visit to Sushi Yoru! Wanted to support a local business during COVID and it was fantastic. Easy to order over the phone, quick pickup, well packaged and really great price.
Started with edamame and gyoza. They also include free miso soup.
The spicy salmon and dragon rolls were fresh and flavorful.
But the tuna tataki and Godzilla were our favorites! Both really excellent...taste, texture and complexity.
Highly recommend Sushi Yoru!

I just wanted to say I really liked their service. I tried ordering a lunch combo but it was past the time and that’s fine. But when I picked up my food they still gave me a little soup on the side and I really do appreciate it!

This place was really good. It has really good and friendly customer service and delicious food. The wait was a little long but it was worth it considering you get to see the food being made fresh in front of you. It was a lot of food too. Would specifically recommend the jalapeño roll. Also a very nicely decorated interior.

Most incredible sushi place. Owners are great people and very attentive. I’ve had the opportunity to become close with them and they are truly hardworking people that care about their business. The food is immaculate and a great price. Have never recommended a place more than Sushi Yoru!

Incredible experience! Sushi rolls were delicious and unbelievably fresh. We ordered Tuna Dragon, Tuna Tataki and Godzilla.

If you're looking for some good sushi meals around Lake Zurich, This sushi restaurant has pretty much perfected the vicious cycle of wanting something crispy, flavorful, and rich in a meal. I ordered the Spicy Tuna bibimbop and sashimi sushi set, which came with 2 bowls of miso and some crispy gyoza dumplings.

For the Tuna bibimbop, they layered a light chipotle aioli on crispy mango salad onto five large dollops of spicy tuna and sushi rice at the bottom.The sashimi set that has thick layers of salmon, tuna, and yellowtail was delicious. Their spicy ginger is never over empowering yet it cleanses the palate really well.

This order took approximately 20 minutes to make and finish, so if you're making an order over the phone, schedule early!

Great sushi with fast service. We really enjoyed the Rainbow roll and the Boston roll was nicely prepared. The sushi burrito is made with spicey tuna and our “i can’t stand spicey” table mates still enjoyed it - though it was a little spicey.
The restaurant has 6 sit in tables and service is excellent. They do a lot of carry out business (or so it seems).
The owner was very kind and provided us with complementary pot stickers.
All in all a great Sudhir restaurant.
