Farmdale Reservoir Parking lot

A hidden gem for hikers, bikers, and wanderers. Trails have great flow for biking and I've always found them well-maintained. Miles of varied trails spread throughout. My kids and I love this place, whether hiking or biking.

It’s great they allow dogs! It’s always a nice peaceful morning walk to take. Olive is a big fan of playing in the creek.

Our family loves to walk here. There is a nice creek the kids and dog can play in. The pathways are well kept. Very pretty land. Be careful if it's rained recently as it will have very thick mud by the creek.

Good hiking and mountain biking here. Shared use trails so expect horses in places.

The reservoir is an excellent place to take your family hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. There are plenty of trails to check out. Be sure you have some waterproof boots if it's just rained since a lot of the trails cross over creek beds. Also, note that you can't go on the sides of the levee unless a park ranger is with you in order to prevent damage. The parking lot is extra large, so there's plenty of parking. There's also a bike course with hills if you're the wild type that likes to run over jumps. Great place overall!

Great park! Yet just like any park, look for debris like glass, etc & loose animals when walking, walking dogs always with leash while doing poop clean up & when using horse & bike trails. Keep it safe & clean people, thank you!

The parking lot is a large gravel lot. Easly able to park 100 cars. No bathrooms or other services.

Great trails for bike riding or hiking. There is a map at the parking lot that will help get you started and the trails are very well marked along the way. Some of these trails are challenging so be aware of the difficulty rating on the trail markers.

One of my favorites hiking spots in the Peoria area. Maps and markers make it easy and the difficulty levels are pretty accurate. Easy ones for all levels but some difficult challenges too

It's the trails 👣, not the parking lot that is the attraction. They're not as flowy as they used to be with all the roots becoming exposed but still pretty awesome place to bike, hike, horse ride.

Great trails for biking and hiking. PAMBA does a wonderful job maintaining them. Creek is a short walk for kids to play in.
