Farmdale Reservoir

Farmdale Reservoir is a cool spot for enjoying nature. Saw a snake up in a tree, even sniffed my keys! A bit strange, but overall a good experience.💯

My husband and I absolutely love coming here. We discovered it about four years ago and have loved hiking out here throughout all the seasons. Lots to see and it’s dog friendly! We actually got engaged here

So beautiful here! Photos of the reservoir and the bee hives across the street. I drive through this area often and I am always seeing something new from wild turkeys to deer, butterflies and bee hives! Plan on hiking here soon. I wish the parks service would make the trail cams public!

A beautiful place to get outside and connect with nature. Plenty of trails that wind through woods & prarie and meander along a stream.

Fun mountain biking trails and a small jumps/pump course. Dogs are welcome. 👌

Great place to go for a short hike or bike ride on a trail. Beautiful scenery everywhere you look. Perfect for the outdoorsman and nature lover at heart!

My family and I love coming to the creek! Such a fun experience to spend time with family doing! 💕 My kids and I always have the best time, especially on the sunny days like today!

Great trails, always somehow prettier weather when I go there. Particularly the breeziness om the dam is refreshing.

Great outdoor park with lots of trails for hiking biking and riding.

Awesome trails. Two buddies and I went out today and hit the jump track for hours. We then decided to go on the trails and all two beginners one intermediate went down a black diamond trail. Fun all around. May have broken my nose but i didn’t care we had fun the whole time.

Fantastic park for camping, hikers looking for decent trails, families who want to enjoy a small river, and anyone looking to have a good time.

Love the woods and creek bottoms for my dogs

Place is great. Been to a few trails in the Peoria/Morton/Pekin area and this is a top 3 for sure. There are a lot of scenic areas, it's a huge park offering room for horses, mountain bikes and hikers. Scenic spots include creeks, open fields, bridges and overlooks. You could go here and just enjoy a lunch at one of the benches just within the entrance. Check it out!

Fantastic, well maintained riding trails. Some of the best trails in the state. We aren't local to Peoria but make several trips each year to enjoy the trails. Thanks to the clubs who keep this park in tip top shape.!

Nice, quiet area. Trails have signs posted showing difficulty and whether or not it's horse friendly. Nice big parking lot. Even when the lot is full, you rarely see people on the trails

This is a great place for biking, and hiking. The trails are long and you can get a good workout doing a loop. The kids like running around as it’s a little more open towards the parking lot/playground equipment area
