Butera Market

Great store if you appreciate good value at good prices. I travel out of my neighborhood to go to Butera. Always find great groceries.

Great prices. Could use better lighting but overall shopping experience, and we all know grocery shopping stinks, was quick and easy thanks to helpful employees.

Although it is a bit pricey, they have a lot of International selections. The fruit is very fresh and pretty inexpensive.

I stop here every time I pass through Grayslake. It's a small but full-service store, with quite a few world market foods, especially Mexican cuisine. Friendly staff. Checkouts are never a long wait.

Went to Butera Market today and the people were so friendly. From the customers to the workers. The guy in the deli was the best. Took care of my needs and had very accurate weights. While waiting for him t on finish, the girl working the deli also wanted to help if I needed anything else. Very clean and everything seemed as fresh as can be. Told me about the sales and everything was easy to find. I will be back. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Be careful buying the "marinated meat on sale" down by the meat isle, in open coolers, though!

They mask rotten pork and beef with a marinade, and sell it for $1-2 dollars a pound!

I bought it a couple of times, and when I came home and tore the plastic from the package - almost vomited from the god awful stench of rotting meat in it!

Even the marinade didn't mask it!

(*Some day the health department will have their butts in serious trouble for doing this!)

I’m here a few times a week! The store is always clean and well kept. They have great sales on different things every week. Definitely worth the visit!

Butera - formerly Piggly Wiggly is a great local grocery store offering value for the customers. They stock products that might be out of stock at Jewel or Meijer like a wide selection of LaCroix or breakfast items

Great deals I'm feeding my family of six 2 great meals for under $40. Today we are having a sautee of sweet potatoes , bbq pork and corn on cob with watermelon dessert. Tomorrow a Chicken and vegetables Thai curry with jazmin rice and cantaloupe for dessert. Not only that I picked up a bag of cereal for the kids.

Great place, fresh fruit and vegetables

First time at the Grayslake location and it won't be my last!!! Overall...very impressed with everything, from the store's cleanliness and order, to the selection of fresh produce, hot and cold deli items and specialty baked items. All the employees were friendly, helpful and courteous.

I love to come here to buy produce items. They have a bigger variety and cheaper items than other grocery stores in Grayslake. There's always something seasonal on sale. I even found purple sweet potatoes here, which I have been looking all over for. They also have a couple of good European items, but not as many as Garden Fresh.

This is my family's favorite local grocery store. They have great produce and meat for great prices. It's perfect for grabbing something for dinner on the way home from work. It's a nice change of pace from all the superstores in the area.

Always has friendly people working. Store is clean and organized. I like the international food choices. Easy to buy just their sale items to plan out meals for the week.

The store was clean, great choices of fresh vegetables. Shelfs were stocked and in order all la el faced the customer's. Just a pleasant experience to shop this store.

Gotta love butera! They surprise you with the amount of stuff they actually have! You may not always find the healthier options of canned, sauces or breads but they don't disappoint! The workers are awesome

I really like butera because I like their selection of international foods. A majority of the international foods are Hispanic, but they also have Indian, Thai, Chinese, Korean and Japanese. For me I love all international foods.

I took one of my client 's there shopping she was in a wheelchair and I had the cart..... one of the ladies helped me......thank you for helping
